Missing Farhad these days. He is pretty key for Ved track I felt. The care and concern he has for Anna is beyond trust and friendship. Wish he comes in time and directs RR. He has always been his moral compass

Completely agree with what you said and this is the reason why scenes like the one today make me feel aayi will flip post Mandar’s return.
As evident from today’s conversation tu bhul gayi aaj Mandar ka bday hai and all she could have simply said Mandar’s birthday Pooja keliye aayegi kya tu and to be truthful I don’t support aayi calling her for this Pooja at all because she is not needed there and she is married now and by calling her to a Pooja like that you are doing nothing but reminding her about being Mandar’s widow. She needs to forget her pain and this isn’t helping her. It’s not a fun family function where Sharda would like her daughter to be present.

And I do think Sharda is selfish in regards to Pallavi, she does love her but that doesn’t mean she isn’t selfish. A true mother would have never asked of her what Sharda did today.

She wanted to get Pallavi married but I don’t think she would have taken it well even if circumstances were normal.

Sharda keeps repeating Pallavi ne Ghar jod rkha tha and how she was the reason for happiness in the house and she depended too heavily on her to solve even the little problems in the household also not just at the shop. And all this while she also failed to notice how burdened Pallavi was with all that responsibility.

This is contrasting with her relationship with Amma, she is comfortable enough with her to share her troubles and worries whereas with aayi she was never able to be open and share her troubles.

Pallavi jhaadoing Ved was a great scene. It was hilarious, for one, which I'm so, so glad for. I know this track is going to be an intense one, but I'm 100% all in after today, they've given me the assurance that they do know how to break up the intense episodes with occasional laughs without doing a disservice to the seriousness of the story.

I may be reading too much into the Pallavi/Ved conversation, so feel free to call me out on it, but I found it fascinating that this is the first time since his return that Ved seemed caught off guard. He was bewildered. He's been successfully playing mind games with Raghav for a while, and is now trying those tactics on Pallavi- first through Sunny, who failed, and then he himself, and he failed too.

It tells us that as well as he does know Raghav, he doesn't know Pallavi at all. He's banking on her to respond in a certain way, and she's not sticking to the script, making her a bit of a wild card in his plans. Is he going to change tactics? Will he figure her out as well as he has Raghav? Add to that, Raghav seems to have a much better hold of himself after the conversation with lungi wala Raghav- it may or may not be the right call, he may or may not stick to it, but having made that call alone has grounded him significantly, and he's determined to deal with Ved, with a slightly clearer head for the moment (let's see how long it lasts, though...lots of storms on the horizon).

The show's never done comedy moments just for the sake of it- even the jhaadu one had poignancy tied to it, so I won't be surprised if today's phone call also is an indicator for what's to come.

Yep, Pallavi didn't react the way Ved expected and I feel he might now go after Keerti through Sunny or keep finding ways to drop clues for Pallavi without showing his hand.

Raghav's moral dilemma was on hold for a bit during the scene with his alter ego. We all know when he shuts that or Farhad down he gets into trouble. I'm still hoping it won't go the typical ITV way where he never ends up telling Pallavi and she finds out in the worst way possible. He is trying to justify his actions by trying to convince himself he's doing this for Pallavi and the family's happiness, especially after that hallucination. He was in the same situation during the Keerti scandal before he decided to ignore his conscience, and we all know how that turned out. He will probably keep making more and more mistakes as he does his best to distract Pallavi or keep her from find out the truth, which in turn is going to hurt her when she finds out he did so. 😔 Please Farhad, come back and speak to your Anna about where he's going wrong.

Raghav is probably going to get into another fight with Ved (I'm assuming because of the BTS where Pallavi bandages his hand) but at the same time, I hope he digs up some dirt on Ved to lock him up again. The thing is, none of what Ved has done so far is illegal so he can't have him arrested again.

Re: the comic element today in the conversation between Ved and Pallavi, while I agree it's nice to have some lighthearted moments, especially when they are unexpected like this, it also pointed out something very important. Just as Raghav is falling back into his habit of being impulsive at times while also not listening to his inner voice, I fear Pallavi is falling back into her habit of blindly trusting the people she cares about, in this case Raghav. The shock is going to be all the worse when she realizes he was deliberately hiding things from her.

The chhupaya kahan? Sirf bataya nahin dialogue refers to all this. In the precap she appears to be asking him if he had met Mandaar or known him, I guess. So if Raghav answers no, he's technically right but at the same time he's lying by omission. Nicely done, CVs.

Also, loved seeing Raghav squirming at the pooja, flanked by two people who adore and respect him. I feel as if Milind is going to support him when Mandaar's truth comes out or when he returns.

His current plan is, send Raghav spiralling into guilt and simultaneously, plant shaq ka keeda in Pallavi's head, and watch them self destruct. The Raghav side of his plan worked, the Pallavi side didn't. She was completely out of syllabus. Man, he's such a good villain! Can't wait to see how he adjusts his approach to Pallavi now.

Did you also feel it was a nice dig at villains on other shows who do exactly this and actually succeed?

I agree. I absolutely think Ayi genuinely loved Pallavi like a mother, but her dependence on Pallavi and 'Pallu, sambhaal lena' always bothered me. That is why when she was angry at Pallavi shaadi ke baad, I didn't appreciate it at all, because how are you getting angry at her for not sharing her loads? That relationship was always one way, Pallavi never had the security to share her burdens with Ayi. She would just carry everything, so obviously, that trend continues in the moment.

@bold- honestly, this trait is the only thing I hold against Ayi so far.

And yes, irrespective of the correctness of the decision (which we can't evaluate right now, since we don't know the truth), the conversation with Lungi Wala Raghav was needed for Raghav to get a hold of himself.

Yeah, Raghav couldn't be seen this way for too long. It was getting monotonous, plus it's not his style either. Raghav is the kind of person who doesn't stay down too long. He's a fighter too and even if this battle is one of the hardest in his life, he will do what it takes to protect his family and their happiness, as well as his own.

He and the viewers both want action and want shrewd Raghav back, so I guess we will see more of the scheming in upcoming scenes. Pretty please, CVs.

I am totally waiting for that scene. I wasn't expecting that he'd be at the pooja too, I thought she'd go alone but seeing the precap made me excited to watch him squirm the whole time.
