The wedding sequence is soo beautifully shot.

My thoughts are very Shiva-centric this whole track, because compared to everyone else in the whole family he's the only one who is not thinking selfishly and the one time the thought comes into his head, he tamps it down like how one puts out a fire. We don't see much else thought wise from shiva, but he has been given the most emotions that flick through his face.

We see anger, resignation, worry and shock.

That was his usual initial reaction without much thought being given the gravity of the situation.

Later, his reaction keeps getting intense every passing second, with Gautam mentioning Raavi announcing it to the whole world about her marriage. You have to go back to watch that scene. From playfulness to concern for his brother, then reprimanding and finally seething in rage. It was one of those fantastic scenes where the boundaries blurred between Dev-Shiva. Their conflicts were just a treat to watch.

He starts by telling him about his warning and then blows off when Dev points out that he can't be rude like him.

That ticks him off, and he loses shit!

Look at him!!!

His anger starts here.

He was so right about everything!

In this scene, it's surprising to see Shiva saying: “uske Bachpane aur Nadaaani ko tune khud badhava diya hai.”

This makes me confident that Shiva has always been the most intuitive and intelligent of all the brothers. She is sharp and grew up extremely fast voluntarily for the sake of his family. He is neither calm nor can be fooled like Gaumbi because of goodness! He isn't diplomatic as Dev, nor he is naive as Krish. He is intuitive, crisp and understands people around him.

Practical knowledge makes a person more intelligent than educational knowledge and Shiva is a bright example of this!❤️

He's so much sharp & brilliant than his other brothers and the so called MBA topper (DevKiDeewanis dur rahiye😆)

Shiva has always made right prediction about what is happening and what's going to happen and worked & took risk according to that way!

I really love this quality of Him!

Shiva has constantly reprimanded dev for his indulgence with Raavi and fuelling her fantasies.

I am very eager to see the Dev-Shiva conflict being explored.

Well mami did say she was going to ask for hisaab for everything they'd spent on the wedding so very possible 😂😂😂

Lovely post! Completely agree with what you said.. Shiva is far more intelligent and smarter where it really matters, than dev who only has bookish knowledge with no practical sense whatsoever
