Exactly. They had deliberately kept it vague, coz remember his dialogue that rather than choose 1 naav, he will savaro 2 navs and risk drowning. So yeah he had planned to keep his promise to Imlie and maintained his relationship in a platonic way 😆 till he could either figure out his next plan or convince Imlie to come back.

Lekin Imlie came back and all his resolve to stay away crumbled and he went back behind her to get her home😆

So he was prepared to manage both relationships but with that dialogue he meant that it will get messy as these 2 are actually sisters.

@bold 2 - that ship has sailed.. i dont think that is what imlie will think.. if u remember the scene when she is putting raksha dhaga on him.. she says usse khush hone ka adhikaar nahi hai.. so it might be just that.. malini will be happy with or without Aditya but if malini wants imlie out of her life and delhi then imlie will oblige and leave.. thats the fear and thats why the dialogue.. again i am drawing meanings from all angles.. current n previous.. is there a probability i am wrong yes afcourse and we will see how things play out for our cuties in future..

And that is exactly why we are here.. There are bound to be perspectives but it is good to be heard and good to be spoken to. I am so swamped today but reading through all your point of views. And such awesome points you al have raised! I think that is what a show is supposed to do or even a book- As you read or watch we all will have our versions until actually that situation/ plot has a resolution, a climax. We are ofcourse not at that point yet. Are they covering details- they do sometimes and leave it open ended at viewer’s discretion which will always be different.

Yesterday was one such episode- Ek AKT ka stance and dekho kitne vividh drishtikon!

So i also look at the leaving as in- distance herself. I hear your point but, this was the biggest truth reveal of Imlie’s life. She is distraught, her guilt is so strong right now and the fact that she is not reacting, even made me nervous 😬. Imlie the show has become a show of episodes, one at a time, look at it as a reaction of Adi who himself is probably lost at this point because Imlie is quite, he has no idea what is she thinking or what will she do..

Coming to SK and Meethi- they will always try do what is best for Imlie- and my thought process is- if she decides something for or against- they will only stand by her.

But all said and done, things will be so much clear ith the upcoming episodes.. abhi kal Imlie ki chuppi ne kiya hai Babusahib ko clean bowled!
