Arey but Raj the reason is not Ahaana. I had seen in youtube comments section most of the people were saying the show is progressive. The reason why the show didnt got accepted according to me was Laila's characterization. She wasnt presented as a normal lady asking for pleasure but wicked lady asking for pleasure. Her character was too OTT.

Also at that time SP's condition was bad so there are multiple reasons.

Toh kya doctor hospital bed tabiyat kharab hone pe nahi late sakti. Kya Raj tum bhi. Also its not necessary in every scene for a doctor to wear white coat. I had seen this with real docs.

@bold 90's me bold concept shows hit kyu huye uske multiple reasons hai

90's me tv mostly upper class rich logo ke gharo me hota tha so they used to watch that shows

90's me rating agency ke meters bhi bahut kam thy nd jitne thy woh rich urban areas me place thy unlike todays's barc meters jo mostly har economical condition ke logo ke ghar me meters hai

90's me channels me bhi mostly dd national tha nd then sp zee sony etc....competition bahut kam tha so woh jo dikhate thy woh logo ko dekhna padta tha

Today indian ke almost har ghar me tv hai but 90's me tha kya?? Answer is no

So how can we say that 90's audience used to accept such bold concept bcz uss time pe full tv penetration nhi hua tha

Laila ko FL nhi thi jiski wajah se show flop hojaye ....yahi sab inhone bandini me regressive way me dikhaya DSZJ wali story woh accept hui but yeh nhi....why??
