Few days back yeh Rupi hi bol rahi thi ki Adi bhai, didn't Malini cheat you by going off with some other guy?😆......aur abhi wohi Rupi is like haaye bechaari Malini, uska suhaag cheena jaa raha hai isliye Imlie is so guilty about it😆

They try to keep the dialogues so vague so as to not address the bigamy angle😆....but uske chakkar mein bhool jaate hain story waale ki showing Malini with her own boyfriend makes it hard to square with why people are claiming her suhaag got taken from her.....lol.....the woman who herself left her husband to go have an EMA with some guy, how do you cry over her husband supposedly being "stolen" from her? 😕😆

Oh absolutely. I do understand her point regarding that....it is a harsh truth that duniya mein sach bhi saccha nahin rehta jab zyada power waale log jhoot cheekh cheekh kar bolte hain.

Imlie is lamenting that very fact that her truth will get drowned out by all these powerful voices around her and no one will believe her. Her truth being that she is married to Adi and is his valid first wife, but she will always be perceived as a husband-snatcher by people who view Malini as his publicly legit wife. No matter how much Imlie herself tries to raise her voice for her truth, she will be dismissed like her mom was.....watching her mom be dismissed and derided despite her innocence is what's hitting Imlie hard. Their situations are totally different but Imlie is still correlating herself with her mom cuz she's seeing that innocence doesn't win even if it's truthful.....her mom keeps losing the battle of perception cuz people only judge her as the woman who slept with a man before marriage and gave birth to his kid.....no one even allows her mom to explain the part about not knowing he was a married man.

I liked that line about aapka akhbaar bhi agle din lifaafa bankar udd jaata hai.....the newspaper that prints the truth one day also becomes just a paper in the wind the next day.....so truth is powerful one day and the next day it can fly away in the wind too.

While the point of her dialogue makes sense, something struck me on 2 fronts regarding the truth. First was the suraj reference that Adi always says, that jhoot ka parda use jitna bhi chupane chahe, sach will always find a way. I believe that while it will take Imlie some time, but she will be able to own this as her truth as well. No matter what anyone says or does, once she owns the truth, nothing will be able to faze her anymore. In a way I am glad that they showed her finding everything out, despite knowing that this will descend into more didi jaap as well.

The second dialogue that struck me regarding news is the one from Notting Hill, where Julia Robert's character says that once something is written, it never dies. Though it becomes yesterday's news, it will go into archive and will play a role everytime that someone researches about her. This was pertinent even in Imlie, where Adi's printed sach was pertinent to get SK out of Jail.

The same way Imlie's sach will also be the driving force to push her to forge her way to fulfill her dreams. No matter what the world says, she will not let these words this define her, the way it defined her mother.

And then yeah, baaki it was disappointing to me ki jab actual point aaya hai of being with Imlie as she's grappling with a low point, he's just wandering around confused and sending Rupi ki proxy to go talk to Imlie.....lol.....toh phir itne declarations ka kya faayda about how he will always be with her? Just cuz Imlie is doing suhaag cheen liya jaap right now, isne haath khade kar liye and doesn't known what to say to her now? 😆

Arey Amma-SK ke jaane ka bhi baad bhi dikhaa denge casually ki Adi had already informed Imlie....lol just like supposedly Imlie had told him way back about Rupi knowing😆

Last time Rupi talked to Imlie about this issue was when Imlie was being sent to C house I think.....lol and then toh Imlie was in the zone of "why should I fight for my haq when I feel I'm in the wrong"🤔😆.....toh ab kya badal gaya hai ki Rupi di bade gyaan jhaadengi about haq ki ladaai again? Bas generic lines chipkaani hain about apna rishta mat chhodo blah blah.....lol as if Imlie ne bola bhi hai ki woh rishta chhod ke jaa rahi hai.

Color me skeptical on that front😆....I don't see any signs of Imlie being able to own her truth fully....she will always have phases of getting more comfortable with it and then falling back into self-worth related insecurity issues....because there will always be someone around the corner to berate her over "Didi ka pati le liya" etc. etc.....maybe she will get a bit more assured once she is publicly viewed as Adi's wife after a remarriage or something....but until then, she will just keep crying over his self-worth jaap only ki maine Didi ka suhaag le liya.

The other option is that so called mahaan Didi spoonfeeds her ki nahin tumne mera suhaag nahin liya, tumhara haq tha.... toh Imlie will magically supposedly understand and get comfortable with this truth *shrugs*

Either option doesn't really make me feel assured about Imlie's owning of the truth long term. It is always Adi who will be more about owning the truth among the two of them.....while Imlie will keep flipping as per the needs of the melodrama.

There isn't really any actual decision for him to make right now.....this is Imlie's issue that she needs to work through vis a vis the shock of learning that Malini is her real half-sister.....Adi ismein kuch nahin bol sakta to resolve it for Imlie.....what he CAN do is keep giving her assurances that HE is there for her and helping uplift her self-worth again through general positive reinforcement.....iske liye decision ki zaroorat nahin hai....bas dhang se support karne ki zaroorat hai.

Instead, all they showed yesterday was Adi ki general lines about himmat mat haaro....yeh ladaai zyada din aur nahin chalegi.....lol matlab itne general lines diye Adi ko ki I was like yeh kaunsi ladaai ki baat kar raha hai? Apne rishte ka sach bolne waali ladaai ki koi aur?😆.....cuz Imlie was ranting about so many things like Didi meri asli Didi hai, I wish main is baarish mein hi beh jaaun....sab mujhe blame karenge etc. etc.....toh mujhe toh clear bhi nahin ho raha tha ki what her real issue is.....the fact that she actually ended up "baantoing suhaag" with her actual sister or the fact ki log won't accept her truth of being Adi ki first wife? It was just very jumbled up to me.

That one moment when Imlie was talking about feeling exhausted from fighting this fight, I was like isne exactly yeh fight ladi hi kab hai? 😆.....Itne time se toh Adi is the only one fighting for their rishta and the truth....Imlie toh mostly passive partner banke khadi hai side pe reluctantly agreeing ki chalo main maan jaati hoon sach bolne ko😆.....toh I really wasn't clear which fight she was feeling exhausted from😆

That is what I mean by the dialogues being quite vague and jumbled up about what Imlie was really feeling the most broken down over.....ki Didi asli behen hain or that iske rishte ka sach accept nahin karegi duniya.....cuz Didi already knows the truth of Imlie ka marriage to Adi.....toh I don't get usmein kya naya hai for Imlie to fear😆.....oh well. Otherwise the breakdown scene was good with some good dialogues.

Last time also AC ki bakwaas ne Imlie ka confidence hilaaya tha and drove her to thinking Adi is dhokebaaz😆.....now AC is doing simliar bakwaas in taunting Imlie ki tune apni hi behen ka pati chheen liya....toh even if Imlie doesn't agree with that and she knows it's not the truth, the fact that it's being said to her throws her into despair over the perception of this blame being put on her.

Dev ka parentage wala blow toh Imlie handle bhi kar legi cuz she still has some ammo there to tell both AC-DC off ki I don't want anything from either of you and I can make my own life......but the issue vis a vis Adi being her husband isn't so easy for her to extract herself from and that is what AC will keep using against her ki you are with the man that was your sister's husband.

I'm fine with Adi suddenly discovering an insecurity over Imlie leaving him but I guess what makes me lose connect more is a passive Adi......they are already in an extremely convoluted situation with Imlie 24/7 doing some version of Didi jaap or the other....we get to hear enough cringe-worthy stuff from Imlie all the time about Didi ki so called mahaanta and innocence.....ab uske upar se if they show Adi just standing around helplessly while people talk about Imlie supposedly chheenoing suhaag, toh phir mere liye toh disconnecting hi hoga.
