Agreed. I've grown up seeing too many independent women around me from my mother's generation, some of them being divorced, widowed or chosen to not get married at all.. handled and taken care of themselves, their children and families from a very young age all by themselves, yes they've had their share of failures too but been through that all alone.
I've myself grown up looking upto them and have done that on my own for a very long time, growing up in an all girls household and coincidentally all my closest friends also come from all girls households.
But deep down there comes a point where you feel the need to be shielded and not because you can't do it by yourself but because you can just be tired or fed up or just want to relax for sometime. Being an independent strong woman takes away a lot from her... the childlike innocence or naivety (which Raavi has) that is generally stolen by this harsh world.. but every woman wants that..
That's why we live our fantasies through these shows.. these makers sell us our dreams wrapped in the alternate universe.
