You saw the movie Paglait? Recebt one...husband dies in New marraige..girl is sympathetic to his parents...comes to know he had a girlfriend in same office. She moves on and goes behind her career but doesn't tell in laws about husbands affair.

As far as Pallavi killing him or anyone for betrayal just does not fit with her character she would just move on if so. I think that devyani character her friend was in love with Mandaar...something happened to her and Pallavi had to marry him.maybe VD didn't accept devyani because she is telugu and not marathi...and then on wedding day mandaar left with Devyani and let Pallavi take care of Deshmuks ....

Also Pallavi mentioned Devyani to be her partner is crime as a joke. What if Devyani was involved with something illegal along with Mandaar....that ties to Lion.
