Because he ignoring her doesn't make any sense. He was the one who wanted her not to contact him and give his saath after completing her studies. He even took care of her education, and now suddenly ignoring her seems out of place. Poor Bondita, she doesn't have a clue of all the mess

Harm in the sense the way she did pre leap, usko kuch medicine khilana, shaadi ki rasam karna and all, he knows what all she can do.

But as you said he may feel she is safer there than with him. But I atleast hope thay have a proper convo somewhere. Like he owes her an explanation. He shouldn't leave her inthe middle of nowhere. Like he made her understand that she shouldn't contact him.

Because he knows how much she is attached to him, she would feel lost without him.
