True, a lot of it depends upon the upbringing of the person.. things that we see as kids are actually engraved in our memory and behavioural patterns forever.. and some of these things are common for almost all criminals.

Lust and greed are the main motives/causes of all grievous crimes everywhere, maximum times.

That is why I can sympathize with a few killers. Their past made them so.

What they did wasn't right, can never be justified. But I just feel bad for them and think how things would have been if their past was different.

That's why most countries are coming up with rehabilitative kinds of punishments for them.

Don't include India in it, yahan ke punishment system ki baat hi nirali hai.
