Ooh, I actually commented on this in the episode thread, and I was trying to tag you also in it because it made me think of something you said, but hua nahi because iss website ke nakhre. Sai's eyes in that scene absolutely stole the show. Lemme copy paste from the thread:

There was so much flip flop to execute in that scene, right from when she presents him the protein shake to break his fast with his favorite, up until the scene ends. So much of flipping between despair, resignation, hope, guilt, affection. And each flip was so well played!

I also loved how stable Pallavi was in that sequence. She wasn't blind to how disturbed she was, it would have been out of character for her to be oblivious to it. But at the same time, she knew it wasn't the time or place to push for answers. She did and said what she could to give him some peace in that situation, because she knows something is very very wrong. We've also seen Raghav absolutely spiral while looking at his hands before, when the guilt takes over. I loved how quickly she managed to pull him out of that moment.

Reminded me of something Vaishali mentioned a few days back, about the thehraav that Pallavi brings in Raghav's chaotic life. The first scene, of him sleeping peacefully in her arms after the night we know he had, also felt more of the same sense of thehraav.

He is grappling with the fear of losing her so her assurance that she will be with him no matter what, calmed him down temporarily.

Humsafar had the best separation track I've ever seen. I loved how, after the leap, not once did Khirad try to present her case or prove her innocence. So much dignity. And that last scene, of Ashar, Khirad and their daughter in the rain? I loved how they emphasised on how they may be back together, but the scars are very much there. The past does leave it's marks behind. She's still hurt, he acknowledges it and understands it.

It's the kind of nuance that's so lacking from our Indian shows. Mujhe itna annoying lagta hai when separations are resolved overnight, with the raat gayi baat gayi attitude, ki ek baar maaf kar diya toh sari baatein bhool gaye. One may forgive, but forgetting and healing takes time.

So true and where Ashar hesitantly comes to call her when she stands near the window. It’s openly seen that he also knows that it’s not easy to forgive him and the fact itself was appreciative. Even I loved the last scene. It was as if Khirad was trying to get back to her old self and hoping that time heals everything.

Him asking her if he's the reason she doesn't love the rain anymore? Oof. So, so poignant. I loved the note they left it at- that their is a lot of pain and heartbreak, but they love each other and their daughter enough to work through it. We don't leave them at a 'happily ever after', but we know they'll reach it.

Breakfast scene was my favorite scene yesterday...the couple are moving from romantic cute love to the deep deep soul level devotion and loyal love ...Ishq......

Potrayed beautifully by both Shivangi and Sai. I loved how she didn't breakdown due to his tears but rather held him and calmed him. The way she made him feed her...he is learning to trust himself through her . Her face brightened after she fed him too..and you can see the sunrise on his face at that smile from her.

Also the first opening scene..though lots of people find it hot..to me it feltlike Raghav has found his anchor in the storm. Thier position was like that too..like ship and anchor. His solace is with her....and even though the evening was turbulent for him..he slept peacefully with his anchor. His shirt being off represented to me that in the four walls of the bedroom there is nothing that he will hide from her...no secrets .

Beautiful chemistry....👏..the scene where Shivangi acts all calm in front of Raghav but goes and smiles and blushes in the bathroom...she was so cute and real....she also realized that Raghav slept peacefully on her like in mirchi episode ..that she has the ability to provide that solace to him...thats. power she has and she has realized it.

Try Yakeen ka safar & Ye dil mera when you get time. I liked those two as well. One of my favourite couple.

I've seen an episode each of both, but they didn't immediately click. I am keeping both on my watch list, may go back and watch someday when I'm in a compatible mood.
