I think that's what made this scene so special. They were both asleep and ended up like that, it was natural yet it wasn't.
You mean, resting his head on her tummy? I think that was such a nicely done shot because he was lying diagonally on the bed. If he'd been straight it wouldn't have had the same effect.
I loved how he was holding her left arm and was almost gripping her robe on her right side - small details but it portrays how even in his sleep he was trying to reassure himself that she wouldn't go anywhere. Bechara.
While it could have been a romantic scene, there was a tragic feel to it because we know what Raghav's state of mind is. He's all messed up inside while Pallavi is feeling those butterflies in her stomach.
@bold: I knew I wasn't the only one who thought of that.
I'm a fan of your posts,Jean. So,beautifully you analyse the scenes. You and Mihika both.🤗

Yes and how beautifully she made her hand free from his grip...like she doenst want to distrub him in sleep..
She is not shocked..her movements are so smooth....like jaise roz pakerta ho hath uska... 🥰😍
present past future all tenses he applied🤣😂
it kinda sounded like the way Yoda talks!

About that scene, I was thinking that if it was the previous Raghav, the Don, no way would he let the lady just leave like that and keep watching. This time, he just let her get away and expressed his frustration. I felt he was all alone there with no Farhad or Harish around. 😔

I actually welled up when he reached DSE, and then the fond nostalgic look he gave, and then the flashbacks, damn. I was a gone case.
I was wondering how he's going to play it to avoid confusing Krishna, but he came up with an okay enough excuse. But I want to know why Mandaar didn't have Facebook or any social media? It's kind of weird. Also, the archive of Nikhil's channel. He always featured family, so Mandaar should be in the old ones. I know, far reaches, but I still think better guesses than DSE or Pallavi's wardrobe 😂
Maybe Nikhil started his channel after Mandaar left and maybe Mandaar was into shady business so didn't have time or want to be on social media! He may have been a true introvert in that regard. 😆
Pallavi's wardrobe - you mean their wardrobe? Yeah, why on earth would anyone keep their ex or late husband's photos with them when they remarry?

That scene is so much more than an intimate shot though! As you said, the aesthetics are so, so on point. Can't praise the technical work enough. I love how they're using the bedroom set in such different ways- the way today's sequence was done, vs the Tera Chehra sequence last week- it may as well have been different sets, with how differently it was all set up and framed.
I also loved how very natural they both played it, both the bedroom scene, and the subsequent Pallavi scene in the washroom.
+1 re: feeling like it could have been a different set. I think that being back in RR mansion is also giving them more scope to set up the angles and shots more creatively.
The lighting and framing are so well done. They have an eye for detail and beautiful palettes. I mean, you can already tell that the person who designed RR mansion is super creative and a real genius. It's given them so much scope to perform. Even the dining table scene with that beautiful greenish mural was breathtaking.

@bold- seriously, the first thing that came to my mind in Pallavi's washroom moment, and I'm so delighted to see how they're playing this!
I don't feel Raghav's mind is going where Pallavi's is at all. It would be a strange choice, to make this track be the one where he's suddenly more physically aware of her, when he's really not been so far- why in the midst of his mental spiral?
So he knows she's not fully their when he speaks to her, right? Do you think this is intentional, where he knew she wouldn't remember, so he's unloading, or he genuinely wanted to tell her, but she misses it because she's out of it? I'm assuming the former- he did say today, Pallavi should never find out, so I would be surprised if he changed his mind within hours. Either way, the phone seems to be ruining his plans.
@bold I completely agree. This is not the right time for him to be physically aware of her and he's not wired that way. His reaction on waking up sleeping on her tells you that clearly. He was a bit ashamed/embarrassed about crossing boundaries and wondering what the heck was wrong with him. The only part that makes sense is him taking physical comfort in terms of hand holding, cuddles, etc. just because he's so confused, emotionally weak, and dare I say a bit needy.
All this seems to be leading to him realizing his feelings when it's 'too late' and him suffering further because he can't have her in his life once Mandaar appears (dead or alive). I don't think he'll act on his emotions while he's this distraught and while he feels the attraction between then, he will remain aloof from Pallavi, which might end up hurting her. Any advances she makes will be measured as well because she doesn't want to dive headfirst either and seeing him all worried about Ved will mean her focus would be more on providing him her support and reassurance that she'll stand by him no matter what. In the meantime, there will be situations that will bring them physically close, but may not be explicitly initiated by either of them.
The precap was interesting because clearly the way he picked her up and her half open eyes, the way he stroked her hair makes it seem like he's aware that she's half asleep or drunk. I think he doesn't have the courage to tell her everything while she's fully alert but this is his way of offloading. We'll only know when the episode airs, of course.
I think the kitchen scene is where he feels a bit more reassured about being able to tell her the truth but still has a mental block. The way he withdraws his hand from her forehead might be either because he doesn't feel he has the right to or he's just got such a delicate mental balance that he wants to put something distance between them, both physically and emotionally.
I am guessing he later goes to see Milind in the evening, sees Mandaar's photo and comes home distraught but cannot have a conversation with Pallavi. I guess they flooding scene happens then and he picks her up, takes her to the room. When she pulls him closer, he looks at her innocence, the guilt overwhelms him, especially because of how much she trusts him and wants to support him, and at least in that state he wants to let out what's on his mind. I don't think he wanted to confide in her just yet but just wanted to get some of the weight off his chest. He's not good with bottling things up, and he feels like he's deceiving her by not being open. We know he hates betrayal of any kind and finding himself in this position can't be easy.

I think her being close is making him feel guilty and he is unable to contain it anymore .he wants to spend romantic moments with her but his guilt isn't letting him , maybe a moment of weakness has taken over him and he is telling it .But is this a part of pallavis plan by any chance ?
She getting drunk , the recorder being on 🧐? Or purely coincidental ?
I agree, the closeness and her sweetness is making him feel even worse. He hates lying to her or pretending, and wants them to have open communication but in this instance he himself is unable to do so.

He is desperate to get some answers right now..Had it been a man he would've used force but with a woman he couldn't cross that line.. BWA hoti to gala dabake puch leta. I dont't think he considers her a woman🤣
