Starplus knows our show deserve the light--they are even show Vat Savitri promo in middle of shows
I feel it's high time TV audience needs to change their perspective.
I was watching Sandeep sikands interview that day with the leads. He said the tv industry is lagging behind big time & the only progressive family he could think of in past 20 years was sarabhais. Infact 90's tv shows were way more progressive.Younger crowd has shifted to ott for better content. Compared to other tv shows MHRW is less on melodrama and they kept the leads equation realistic. So they should cash on the USP of this show while promoting it.
Yes totally TV audience needs to change perspective but us saying it doesnt make it so. People will watch what they like . We cant make them forcefully like things or change their perspectives abt things.
No I do not agree that the only progressive show in the past decade was Sarabhai. I loved dt show and so did my entire family.....even dt time when it aired. It was a comedy show and it alwys has a different audience . See even now a show like TMKOC is topping charts every week. Bcz its a different genre all together. As for progressive shows .......there hv been many shows . Most of them aired either on Sony or on Sab. These channels care very less abt trps and so new shows wid different outlook flourish der. The last good show I watched was Mere Dad ki Dulhan. It had different story , different outlook , less drama and even the ending wasnt typical. Very nicely done. Even KRPKAB season 1 had such solid storyline and was very nicely written and enacted . Dts why the show had such popularity inspite of being on Sony.
And people are progressing . I can give examples of my own family. These are the same people who watched K dramas. Even I hv watched dem as a kid . But now they dont prefer too much drama and depending on how the story is going......change their preference. My family liked GHKKPM but the constant drama in dt show has made everyone quit the show. So yeah people are progressing slowly . But whatever they choose to watch is their choice. We cant compel them. Story has to be appealing to audience and compel them to watch.
Ya unfortunately that’s the case

Ya Sony had some really nice and progressive shows I remember. There was one show called mahi way it was very different. Then they had patiala babes and ya even I liked Mere dad ki dulhan till the marriage track, I didn't see the ending. Then Sony had a show called isharon isharon mein which was sweet (for first few months). I even liked yeh unn dino ki baath hai. I haven't seen story 9 months ki but it's impressive that they thought of making a show on a topic like surrogacy. But sadly Sony couldn't manage to get bigger audience and the shows were forgotten. I am sure some day Sony will come up with a show based on LGBT too.
In MHRW the promos they make don't make sense as the episodes turnout to be something else, toh atleast they should promote what's unique about this show.
And very low of what they’re doing
Good!! At least then that made u all change sides
