I had no hopes for a Dev apology so glad we got something. I did think the dialogues were quite interesting. Dev said something like, “I’m seeing you smile for the first time since the wedding.” And not going to lie, Raavi reminded me so much of the Raavi before the wedding in that scene with Dev & the subsequent scene with Shiva. The writers have some scope to build a track here. 👍🏼

Tbh they could have done much much better with the apology but that this point, anything too intense would have fallen flat. I’m going to consider it a wash and move on. If I look at the scene with zero expectations, I enjoyed the vibe and feel of it. If I go in with emotions and expectations... actually let’s not even go there 😆

I hope one day Raavi realizes that this is how Dev has been with her from day one. Friendly and warm but nothing more than that. From day one, he was the person watching from the outside & smiling when it comes to ShiVi’s story. It was never about him honestly and I think a part of Dev knows that. Doesn’t absolve him of what he did, but a small part of me can see why he can’t grasp the gravity of the situation.

Interestingly enough, I wanted to post something playing Devil’s Advocate for Dev sometime yesterday but didn’t get to. It had a huge connect with the scene today so might post it eventually.
