LOL oh I'm QUITE sure he overheard her nautanki self-proposal isliye he was messing with her😆......the way he came in and instantly knew she was hiding something.....it shows he'd seen her enacting a proposal with the ring and mimicking him😆.....isliye apna full khadoos demo de raha tha usko.....lol kaafi deliberately kar raha tha with the way he put his hand on her arm cuz he knew aur nervous ho jaayegi😆.....Imlie basically guilt mein sehem gayi thi ki kaise explain karegi what she was doing with that ring....lol that is why she was floundering more in nervousness.

Adi didn't even look surprised when he saw the ring in her hand....lol isne pucca sab overhear kar liya tha pehle se.....haha

Main toh soch rahi hoon apne full Imlinder torture ka badla le raha tha Imlie se ki kitna nachvaya isko Imlie ne in Imlinder mode😆.....aaj Babusahib ki baari thi.....haha

Baaki yes, he didn't need to be told anything....he understood what was in her heart.....I toh just liked that they closed the loop on the ughhh memory of the ring from Didi.....Adi had asked Imlie that day also if she wanted a ring and she'd said no.....aaj they managed to create their own spontaneous moment with a ring....itne pyar se apne aap ko express kar liya dono ne and ek plastic ring hi sahi, itni solemnity se pehnaayi that it found its own meaning.

again if you see imlie also enjoyed teasing him but that doesn't come at him actually lowering himself to her she can even telll him ke bhaith jaokadmon main and yeh kar bhi dega caz that is how much he genuinely loves her matlab jo khudse kabar main gir gaya woh kya nahi karega but baat aati hai ke would she like it no.. SHe hates it when he actually does these things and lowers himself caz adi ki izzat is her izzat uske liye itna kaafi hai ke maan deta hai ke kar sakta hai.. Huge difference between kar sakna and karwana.. while it is good to know he can doesn't mean he should and that is what makes them what they are . the mutual respect they have sets them so apart.

@bold: Word....Imlie enjoys pulling his leg to tease him but she has never been able to stand to see him lowering himself or demeaning himself in front of her....this is a stark contrast from Didi who expects pretty much everyone to grovel before her.....especially Adi.....most of their equation seems to have been based around her feeling entitled to his ji huzoori.....main bhi ise pyar nahin kehti.....dunno kiski dictionary mein yeh pyar hai.....lol Didi ko lagta hoga....but I think if you genuinely love someone, you wouldn't be able to bear to see them groveling before you all the time or being disrespected so much.

Adi ko ab jaakar asal maayne mein baraabari ka rishta mil raha hai with someone who shares his wavelength on that😊.

Amazing ki maine kal hi woh vachan wala scene gif kiya and aaj hi woh sach hota dikhne lagaa.....haha let's imagine ki beech ke Imlie ke confused sidetracks huye hi nahin and ladki ko finally samajh aa gaya hai ki yeh baraabari ka rishta hai aur isko NIBHANA hai ab😆

The fact that she's khud se imagining ki Adi will propose her for shaadi also makes it seem like yeh samajh gayi hai ki Babusahib iske hi hain😆

And this is one of the amazing qualities of their relationship, the respect - how they elevate each other, how they match each other in both childishness and maturity.

LOL at Adi melting in that scene.....Imlie ki simplest of baatein also undo him....shuru se hi aisa hai.....and now toh ofcourse they are in a different phase. He's just always so touched ki Imlie apne liye kuch bhi nahin maangti.....and when he tries to do something for her, she still manages to find a way to ghumaao the baat in such a way ki iske dil ko aur bhi chhu jaati hai....he keeps falling more in love with her without her doing anything other than simply being herself :)

i am gonna sound like a broken record but just look at them taking a moment to absorb that moment and make it a memory worth cherishing that.. woh ek ankhon main qaid kar lena quality to the look they are sharing.. iti s all the more needed in the sense ke they can get out of their shared trauma not that they both now count that as a blessing too caz they found each other usko bhi clear they haven't made any shikayatein as such caz they are thankful for getting each other through the traumatic situation uss zulm main bhi they have found something to be thankful for and made peace with and get over with it.. but both of them need this more for themselves for coming through a literal aag ka darya to this point... this is important and a moment of healing as much for him as hers.. which is why it fills my heart with so much mroe happiness ke isme bhi they are both rising above the pain

@bold: Word....I toh just am so thankful ki is scene ko itne thehraav se dikhaya.....every moment that needed a pause and lingering, they got it right in this scene.....ring pehnaane ke baad bhi as you said, a moment to absorb this memory.....something beautiful beyond the trauma they've both undergone in how this marriage came about.....but now they are building new beautiful memories together in a mutual sense which is a part of the healing they both need....not just Imlie.

GM-ST just killed it in this whole scene, man👏.....inko content do toh kitna range dikha sakte hain....this scene had all the lovely shades of Adi-Imlie's relationship again.

Maybe once they are done with this NishVi shaadi and Dev truth tamasha, they may show Adi going back to the office again and having some interaction with Editor Saab.....last two months toh main restriction was the Hyd shift.....now that they are back in Mumbai, they can deffo get Editor saab back to give some assignments to Adi again....and also to sunaao to him about the choices he's made😆

Baaki I agree that Nish or Rupi finding out so far doesn't signal a big shift to me.....they may just do generic support statements for Imlie from time to time as the senior Ts may suspect her again.....lol but baaki toh nahin lagta kuch khaas change hoga.

Adi did need a confidante in the house....we thought it would be Rupi....lol....but looks like Nishant may step up a bit now since Adi bolta toh rehta hai ki yehi iska closest hai....lol let's see if they live up to it now.

You know something struck me about how she said "Sawaal nahi puchiya ga BS. Ee Sawaal puchch kar aap humare maan badhawat hai". What struck me was how poignant that statement is. From where Imlie is, uske umar ki ladkiyon ko yeh mauka kabhi nahi milta where someone goes down on their knees and proposes. The best that the girls get is the Man milan, where if they do not like someone they can say no, lekin shayad wahan bhi it may not be for all. For someone who said that my voice is not enough for my villagers to believe me, BS asking her to marry rather than telling shows just how overwhelmed she got. Uske khud ke proposal mein bhi she imagined BS telling her to marry. That he was willing to go down on his knees and ask, where her answer and opinion mattered, that just made it that much more overwhelming for her. That was why she came down to her level to tell him that yes she accepts what he asks and that they will always be equal.

Btw this week will be all hide and seek games 😆 so far we now Anu and Meethi meet - will SK meet Anu and Dev? Will Meethi meet Imlie’s masterni kalpana ji? 😆😆 It’s going to be one of the most interesting weeks if they handle it well 😆

Lovely review and episode. It was so well done and for me after a long while - Adi's expressions were back on track. It was his episode and dialog writing was indeed different, nuanced and layered rather than cliched. When they give us this kind of content - this is what feels like

Imlie.

The only think I missed was with Adi recounting what happened - it would have been nice for him to tell Nishant that he realized he never loved M and fell in love with I post marriage. Esp because of the Malini N convo on how she tells him its easy for men to move on - I thought some dialog on what compelled Adi to make this choice and independent of Malini and her bf story. Some how it was unclear that Nishant got - that Adi was going to breakup with M regardless of KC. I know sometimes that repeating pg story and Adi's path to love is a lot and they did a fab job with his SK Meethi confession - I would have liked to hear it one more time.
Malini KC chemistry is so bad....but I liked KC asking her the right questions of whether she still loves Adi. Is the Sundar proposal piece done? Does he have feelings for Imlie? He is usually a pretty conservative guy and does not take any liberties with the T's and always considers what they will think...so his sudden proposal start was interesting. He would have def known how the T family would interpret and did not care. He is becoming more comfortable with the family :)
