The whole build up of support and safety they did with KunMun is for Malini to turn Kunal into what Aditya was in her life.

If Malini leaves the house, which I still doubt will happen, higher probability is for her to go to Kunal.

Ek toh Imlie is aware that the hug to Pallavi was platonic and more importantly this is Imlie. She is very secure in her relationship with Adi. Didi thodi hai jo har choti choti baat pe jealous ya insecure ho jaaye. Humari Imeliya badi samajhdar aur sayanee hai.

The problem is even the people who want to treat her like adults give up after a point and start treating her with kid gloves again coz she cannot handle the mature behaviour for too long. Case in point - Adi, Meethi and further the down the line I will not be surprised if even KC follows suit.
