This show and song was my life, along with "Tu hi bata mere maula". Miss the days of innocent fangirling. I didn't know anything about ITV social media drama or care about trps!! It was before youtube/starplus pulled down videos. I was introduced to Arshi, just watching their scenes on youtube. Now that's nearly impossible.

I hadn’t discovered IF back then. Just used to watch the show on tv.
I know SAAKK is much different than Ipkknd but still whenever I see SAAKK I remember Ipkknd days. May be coz of the Rabba ve promos.

I would never ever want shaurya to spill. As much as it's adorable to see him hurting seeing her hurt, that would totally spoil the essence of this track. Shaurya started this plan with a motive to teach anokhi what love is. He wanted her to learn to take a stand for their love. If he spills the beans, how would that serve the purpose. That would again mean shaurya chasing anokhi for his love. I want anokhi to chase him for once. Even now we ain't getting her really chasing him or fighting for him...but theek hai itna bhi. She needs to trust him, she needs to learn to fight for her love the way she fights for her ambitions, she needs to understand the depth of love she has for him! I want to see that! Enough of Shaurya's unshaken love n trust in her! I want to see her claim her right on him n his love! Waise hi yeh sab drama meaningless lag raha hai mujhe without any deep conversations or monologues. I am glad it's ending on a note that it was supposed to end on!

I am tired of mehendi episode now... especially because of Anokhi's looks and yellow lighting. I can't take that dullness anymore. But sigh, it's not ending before Wednesday at least. She'll sing tomorrow n go n cry in a corner, Reema will give her a pep talk n the reunion will happen. I hope they are left alone in the reunion scene at least n all that bheed is not there in the framei am deprived of only shakhi n some peace in the frame! On Wednesday I guess there will be happy moments of mehendi function...like they'll again make mehendi on Anokhi's hands...the full hand designs n all. If we are lucky enough, we might as well get couple dance of Shakhi as they have skipped Sangeet function.

SAAKK gives me IPK feels too. I really thought Shaurya was going to be very ASR like, but it's been so surprisingly different.

I had IF during IPK and the craze was real. It also turned me off to IF because towards the end there was a lot of Barun vs Sanaya fanwars.

I stayed away from IF until SAAKK started and there wasn't much presence anywhere else but IF. Back then twitter tag was boring.

@bold: I think that's sounds about right. I haven't watched the full SBS segment. I want to be surprised and I don't want to complain about editors. I know there's a lot of talk about clothes and makeup and many have addressed it with the CVs/directors/PH, so I do hope that it changes. At this point, this part is filmed and everyone will be jaundiced and we can all move on.

I also want ShaKhi to have a private reunion and then the rest of the family can crash it. I don't want them to jump into the haldi. I want a late night phone call or something to tie it all together.

I liked how they r not showing devi showing up in the wedding out of the blue. Its a slow burn for her seeing her son getting married and she isn't a part of his happiness. I hope we get a scene like this after haldi as well alka ji's screen presence is great.

Chalo kisi ne drama kiya. Loved shauhir scene true friends banne wale hai. Btw did u notice how bhalla was not answering to nikki i hope he blasts her soon in front of SS and ss is reluctant to send nikki to kapurthala for her haldi. I m eagerly waiting for protective hubby.

I love how they make actors sing in this show. Loved astha lets see if shaan also sings or not and yesss waiting for anokhii ka song eagerly

I loooooooooooved that khaana scene!! It was done sooooooo well. Shaurya's nautanki in simple scenes are such a gift. I already love Shaurya but my love is growing exponentially these days.

I'm glad we're getting some drama with our psycho and chacha and abuser. I don't need a main course of drama, just a side plate will do. I want romaaaaaaance!! I want my private ShaKhi reunion with cute family scenes after!! I also want that protective Shaurya to come through. He's been really nice to the Bhallas, especially Papaji. He needs to understand the reality of that family. I hope they don't gloss over it.

I'm also really glad that Devi didn't just show up. I'm glad to see her at the shaadi. I hope she participates in rasams with Aastha, because Shaurya deserves that happiness.

I can't wait to hear Deba sing!! I love her voice!! I didn't know Deepa sang. Now we have three singers down....when will Hitesh get a chance???

This seems to be the consensus. And I really hope it's true. Devi needs some redemption to get back into Shaurya's good books. @bold: I have no idea honestly. The circumstances are slightly unusual because the couple accept that they are married and it is common knowledge to anyone and everyone who matters including an ACP. In Indian law that would be legally upheld when presented with the texts and photos. So even if they do a secret bride switch (which will be hard to execute given the difference in heights), the marriage holds no value. The bride cannot be switched if Anokhi is missing because Shaurya will stop all festivities and start searching for her instead of opting for substitute. They cannot break Shaurya and now they will be unable to break Anokhi. The fear of social ridicule or upholding Sab/Bhalla family honor is not a factor for Shaurya or Anokhi so they won't care again because in their minds, they are already married, This is just formalizing the relationship in front of masses. How do you break up a married couple that have accepted all the positives and negatives of each other and refuse to get blackmailed emotionally or with material goods.

Shagun's best chance is to let the marraige proceed and then try to break them up as later as they will be under immense pressure to balance all their roles. The other option is Raja, maybe that is why he was introduced. Shaan would withdraw his support in a second besides it makes Anokhi will be embarrassed to death- Brother tried murdering MIL and BIL kidnapped her boyfriend.

I do think Shagun will try to do something stupid (she still does not know how Tej tried to blackmail Anokhi) giving Tejvi a chance to mend their relationship with Shaurya by supporting the marriage. I wish they would disclose why Shagun is so deadbent on marrying Shaurya, at the very least it would give credence to her character. It cannot be pregnancy because she would have already milked that if it was true. Other options are money, ego/pride or revenge.

I am so so happy Shaurya did not go ASR way, when I look back now, I can’t ever imagine how I was crazy about the character. He was too mean to Khushi and got forgiven easily.

Initially when I saw the SAAKK promo I thought it was gonna be ipk like story. Another hate marriage. N that’s why I didn’t watch it. The interview episode intrigued me, followed by the scene we keep talking about, mother feeding son n Shaurya’s anguish. All this intrigued me. But the post ragging rescue episode got me hooked. Shaurya supposedly still hated Anokhi, but the gentleness with which he handled her and took care of her got me hooked to this show and there has been no looking back.

I came to IF three years back or so, so dunno about ipk fan wars. Visited a few forums. Never stayed. Was there on Ghum for a while but it was toxic so left, came here and have not been able to stay away!! 😃😃

Twitter I deliberately stay away! Twitter crowd is too toxic and I don’t just mean our show. Even in general. People are too comfortable humiliating each other and consider it their birth right to troll. So, for me it’s a complete no!
