He calls her all the names but gawaar jaahil etc r not just names they r thorough insults on a person’s esteem. Calling her chipkali and him gawaar isn’t equal. And he calls her all the names except MKBKB in an affectionate way like he calls Krish sometimes. But not Raavi. Raavi hs an image of a partner that doesn’t suit Shiva and Shiva knows it and also knows ki she won’t be able to accept him and with that thought in his mind, him taking the first step isn’t possible. Yet he is doing what he can. And she is too. But she has been shown more malleable and flexible between the two.

If you ask me if this was real whom I would like to see taking the first step. I would say Shiva. Because there is nothing more beautiful than a man who can take steps towards his woman. But with the baggage he has, him taking the first step doesn’t exactly makes sense. He has all this emotional baggage and it’s since childhood. Granted that Maamis sins are not Raavis but Shiva has been seeing it that way since he was a kid and the though have been pressed into his head so keenly that it will take time to be removed. Raavi on the other hand do not have hatred. So it makes more sense to take the route that way.

I want one scene with their convo on this.

Behen pyaari meri, Shiva's hatred is unjustified because his hatred stems from the fact that Raavi has been brought up by Maami, and that she is related to the woman who almost destroyed his family. Whereas, Raavi's hatred/dislike towards Shiva is just her reaction to Shiva's behavior.

When Shiva can manhandle her, Raavi can call him gawaar. And nope, I don't see any affection in MKBKB, its the funny bgm that plays that makes the situation funnier, but no. I don't believe that which is why I mentioned the same thing in Sayonee.

Raavi's image of a partner was Dev, the kind and polite guy, the gentleman type, the prince charming I would say. But mostly she wanted to be a part of the Pandya family. Dev was her choice because Shiva couldn't become one. And why is that, it is because of his behavior towards Raavi.

Raavi has her own emotional baggage, she lost her parents, she was betrayed by the guy she loved, she had to marry the person who hates her, and she's also taunted by Rishita at times about the same thing.

See, the only thing that I want Shiva to change is his behavior towards Raavi. And believe me, the moment Raavi sees this change in him, notices how he no longer manhandles her, mistreats her and all, the impression she has of him will change as well.
