In Bollywood, I can think of only one popular actress who is talented as well as LOOKS young enough to play the role of a teenage Sita.

That is...😆

But that's not happening we all know.😆

Don't know who Sai Pallavi is, among these choices, I think Amrita Rao would be a good one. Why is Shraddha even in the options though, she can barely act 😆

Unpopular opinion but maybe Aloo.. She is a decent actress and most importantly she has that innocent charm to pull off a role like Sita. I can't think of anyone else in her age group who will suit the character. Both Kriti and Kareena are such a miscast.

Also Sita isn't really a tough character to play, she is pretty one dimensional unlike Draupadi so not much acting chops are required.

Alia would be a good choice 👍

Anyone can play sita. That character doesn't have much meat. She's just a princess who married a crown prince then went to live in a jungle. She just follows her husband and BIL around and cries in Ravan's garden while her husband and BIL fight a war to get her back. She might get a couple of scenes where she say some snarky things to Ravana but that's bout it.

At the end of the day Sita is just a flower pot role. Any actor who's cute and a bit snarky can do that role. DP has done it somewhat as mastani and padmavati. But literally anyone in the new gen could do it.

I'm pretty sure the point of this film is to focus on Sita as it hasn't been before - most likely a feminist spin - hence why she is the title character in this film. There are two other Ramayana films being made (maybe) where she will probably be sidelined as per usual.

I'm of the unpopular opinions but...Bajirao Kashi bai outshines mastaani in terms of portrayal....whatever limelight deepika got is mostly because of the opulence with which she was always presented in songs and her real life equation with ranveer and

padmavat is the weakest link in the movie
