But if they are going to talk about Shaurya’s shortcomings which I completely agree with, let’s not forget Raghav’s. His redemption may have been better, but what is the redemption for sl*t shaming a girl? Negating her innocence to the extent that her family still doesn’t believe her. Shaurya was extremely wrong in the library scene and sindhoor shaadi, none of us here would deny that. But he didn’t do as much as Raghav to deserve that kinda redemption!

True Raghav was pathetic but happy that Pallavi gave him a tough time . He deserves all tha pitai from Pallavi and insults which she gave him..I hated him jab usne Pallavi ka gala pakda tha 😡

And why can’t she be single till she finds someone worth her if not Vicky? For breaking so many stereotypes, this show should break this one too. A divorced woman needn’t jump into the first relationship that comes her way!!

I totally agree! A lot of societal taboos are dumb. This being one of them that divorce is the end and a woman without a man is somehow unfulfilled. She should finish her education and find financial independence and move out of Ahir’s house. I’m curious to know what Ahir’s place will look like in Mumbai!

Men on itv all of them every single one is problematic. That reflects on the society and the channel more than the makers. It indicates what people want to see and that really shows what people think. Unless there is a societal change shows can't be socially correct and flourish. Examples are Saakk and aapki nazron mein . Saakk intially called out Shaurya a lot more. They are doing what they are doing to survive. Art can happen only when it is economically feasible. U cant criticize someone for trying to run their house over selecting proper messaging. Secondly I think Shaurya has always been called out. Only quantitatively the calling out should have been way more stronger. Aapki nazron mein is such a unique show. I don't watch it but disabled people never get shown on tv. What's the outcome-struggling with trp. If one can't endorse progressive content then one can't question makers on problematic messaging.

I was so pissed off with Apns lead treating his wife so brutally. And I am not on board with showing him to be some superhero though he is disabled. The concept on paper is great. But the execution lacks.

Shaurya has always been called out for his mistakes here. He has been criticized. And the dissent for his actions has been quite strong, at least on IF, But the problem is tt negates all of it and keeps drooling. So the balance is lost.

As for what people want to see. I seriously don’t understand with shows like Anupama, Ghum and Imli getting the trps they do.

I don’t see the show, only the clips here and there. So I am glad if she made him pay for it. But still she lost her family(not that they are worth it), and i don’t know what’s the redemption for it and calling her his mistress. 🤷‍♀️

I haven't seen the show. I felt the origin was good. But the same must have happened. They relented to what they felt help raise trps. I think what such shows require is channel faith. And honestly one or two shows not getting grt trps would shake star. Star still is placed highest on the trp list. If it takes risks it will still be at the top. I don't want to comment on others as I don't watch. But I felt tv is going back in time. I watched dil mil gaye, pyar ki ek kahani and mile jab hum Tum. Which were far far better than what is on itv today. They had long runs. I am sure they must have had issues too but not to this scale I am sure. They had grt humor. They were light and uplifting. They really had stuff to show. Now well .......
