Episode 120 : Harkubai ki kalaakari

So the episode starts with some political stuff with Tukoji reading a letter to Malharrao.

Gautamabai telling Ahilya ki kabhi kabhi dusro ke liye bhi zidd pakadni chahiye, befriend Khanderao! Ye kya inko pyaar waar karwayenge? Please spare the kids, let them be friends

Aaj Harkubai kitni mehnat kar rahi hai Khanderao aur Ahilya ko sath laane ke liye!! Bahot papad mirchi daal di 😆

Khanderao gave such a diplomatic answer to Dwarkabai's question ki 'Ahilya ne aaj kaisi padhayi ki', he said 'waise hi jaise pehli baar padhne wale kar sakte hai'. 👏 good boi!

Malharrao has such high hopes from Ahilya! Don't be stupid girl, you got a chance don't ruin it!!

Then Gautamabai eats mirchi wali daal and Malharrao gets all anxious and feeds her laddo! it was so sweet!

Harkubai ka gyaan : Malharrao apni patni ki aankhon mein aansu nahi dekh sakte.. hamare ghar ke sabhi purush isi category me aate hai...😆 dekhte hai ki Khanderao isse kitni seekh leta hai. The way he looked at Ahilya gives me hope.

Harkubai ka dursa gyaan : jo seekh rahi ho use dikhana nahi hai, jatana nahi hai, ye tumhari apne pati ke prati nishtha dikhayegi.. dosti ho jaye tab bata dena.. phir bhi galat lage to bata dena

Ahilya agrees

Ufff... I'm not fond of this..

Ahilya having flashbacks and is in a dilemma to how to go on..

Ahilya dreams that Khanderao takes her to his Guruji and says ki aaj se ye bhi hamare saath padhegi.

Next Monday : It's been a week and she hasn't learnt alphabets. Guruji angry, Khanderao is thinking (maybe he'll help).

I'm really not enjoying this whole dumbing down to boost your husband's ego and repair your relationship wala idea.. it's very stupid and I don't think it will work. Even if it does for short term, long term me kya hoga? (We know it didn't work out that great)

Hopefully there's some new subplot being developed, aaj ke starting wale scenes suggest it.

Actually I am quite interested to know whether we will be able to watch the battle sense, with Chimnaji Appa and Peshwa Bajirao along with MR, or they will narrate about the battle in another letter for Gautamabai. Badly wish to see Bajirao and Chimnaji😳

Well, Harkubai's first advice was as good as the second one was bad, showing the example of his parents was a good move to convince KR. But advising Ahilya to play dumb left a sour taste. When the right to study was so hard-earned by Ahilya, wasting the opportunities just to convince her husband is really stupid🥱

Agar manana hi hai tho study hall ke Bahar manau na, study hall mei multitasking Karne ki kya zarurat

Par aajka chhotu saa GauHar moment mujhe accha laga. It's quite nice to watch husbands taking care of their wives, quite a rare sight even in real life as well😆
