I think relationship wise mohite-patils are more closely related to Samrat. He is their daughter's husband. Virat is Ninad's son and has his own life. And Sai is no where related to Samrat until her marriage to Virat. So Samrat's missing shouldn't effect her happiness or some special occasion in her life. She joined the family very recently. So the wedding reception was done in accordance to their status. Already Samrat and Patralekha had a grand wedding so the real son of the house defnitely deserves and got it. Moreover Virat being an IPS officer will have his own colleagues and friends circle so they will be there to greet him on the occasion of his wedding.

But I feel sad for Mohit because even he's the son of that house but as he has no job or income neither kaku nor his parents don't care about him.

Chavans' grand holi celebration was kaku's decision.
