So coming to the episode, pure emotions of a couple!
He stops her which she wanted with all the right a husband has and no he isn't an MCP for saying I am your husband and I have the right to stop you, she wants that! she wants the right of being his wife like she has given him the right of being her husband....
She showed her right as a wife in the hospital to take care of him and he showed his right as a husband to stop her, that is what couples do, you feel you have a right on the other as much as you have on yourself!
she is testing him to see the extent of his words and how far he can go to stop her, that one line i will get the entire police force here is proof enough to her... he is showing her he wants her in his life as his wife not responsibility.
without asking or saying more he takes her belonging to their room, she stares at him in happiness... she never wanted to leave, she loves him, she is upset and hurt but she wants to be with him forever, and when he stopped her, happiness knew no bounds, tears escaped her eyes and a smile on her face her heart was full!
coming to the room.....
She was sitting and studying, he was right next to her while she did her own work on his phone.... how domestic, a couple can sit in silence together minding their own business just in the presence of one another, they don't need to talk all the time or be lovey-dovey.... silence proves stronger than words most of the times it shows your comfort with the person in front of you.
He wants to share his life with her, every small detail, every achievement, sorrow, award, failure, happiness, sadness everything!
He is reading her silence and actions.... She was worried when he said I have to go on another mission, it was evident, he stole looks trying to make out if it bothered her and it did...
She has not realised her feelings and he wants to know what is going on with her, she won't tell him clearly, so he is left to figure out for himself hence the confusion of the man... actions say something and words something else!
he cares for her and has called maushi to take care of her, he knows she needs family and someone who will be there for her no matter what, those are currently very few- him, maushi, aai and tai.....
maushi is someone who has no one except sai and for maushi sai is her world, so she can give undivided attention to her child!
He says clearly i want to share my everything with you.... today she wanted to brush it off but he did not.
He wasn't angry with what she said, he was upset with how the situation escalated and he knows she is not at fault, what upset him was she did not come home and did not inform him... it is natural, he cares for her, worries for her..
think about it if you were to leave your house and not tell your parents where you are going, when you will be back no matter your age, won't they freak out! my dadi still does when my dad goes out without telling her... she is 84 and he is 61! lived all his life away mostly and even now she stays with my tayya but when she visits all she can do is worry about her son eating, sleeping, coming home etc! The same goes for my mom, she gets hyper when he isn't home at night and refuses to sleep till he walks through the door...
there was no harm in staying at Pulkit's, that did not bother him what bothered him was she did not tell him, if anything is to happen to her it is on him, she is his responsibility, his world revolves around her...
He wants to know what has affected her, what did she hear that bothered her so much! And it was the word commitment like sunny said the copyright of these words lies with a wife or Gf and so when she heard it the inner wife came out... sai too thought the matter was over! aai sais to virat she also did not bring it up cause sai came with him and she thought with time this situation would be in the past but before that could happen sai's patience ran out...
in his own way he does clear the vaada as it holds no importance to him... I am neither committed nor am i fulfilling any past commitment! his only commitment lies with her, his wife!
she feels it is because of her but no it isn't! it is because he wants to be committed to her, to have a marriage of love and trust! he has never felt this way before, the comfort, care, happiness she brings to him has never been felt by him in all his life.... that is why his anger is extreme with her, his feelings are always to the extreme! we hurt those who we love the most in life....
An apology for his family's insult to her, she doesn't want it but he feels it is necessary!!
jealousy from both ends, happens when you don't confess your feelings, it bothers you... he tried to hide it but we know he cannot! he is the same man who got jealous of her talking to amay and went to her college to check "the height" of aniket when he heard about him! it affects him as much as it affects her! they are possessive of one another... no they don't want to own or tie the other down but it is their feeling of love that makes them jealous!
Does it bother you if i go on the mission, he is trying to gauge and is actually successful in it, he sees her worry and is happy that she is worried, all what aai, sunny, pulkit and even the doctor said about love is true, she loves him and he is slowly understanding it...
Why do you care if i go, what will happen i will die.... that hand rushes to the mouth to stop him from speaking, the feeling of losing him, her only family, kills her from inside. She has felt it before and she has gone through it once before... abba!
she knows the feeling of losing a loved one and she knows the feeling of being uncertain about her loved ones condition, that is love!
All he wants to know is if she cares and needs him, if she is wanting him to stay back and be with her.. that is all he wants to know!
she does.. he knows it but wants her to say it out loud so when she takes the names of the entire family, he gives up and asks straight DO YOU NEED ME!! and the instant reply is YES! it is a subconscious answer, no thought to it because it is the truth! she wants him as much as he wants her...
A few of my favorite moments were the stare in the zillat, him taking her luggage back to the room, the stare when she holds his mouth, them sitting in silence together but my absolute favorite was her pushing him and taking him inside the room to sleep, so domestic! He is like a child with her and his inner child comes out only with her, so when she cares he behaves like a kid!
Virat Chavan craves love, all his life he has got conditional love. He would do something good so he was loved, but sai gives him unconditional love, no matter his mistake, she is ready to forgive and start afresh, and so he hurts her, he isn't used to this kind of love and is learning slowly what it means to be in love unconditionally without any expectations or conditions...
Aai-baba scene is a build to the impending change of heart for ninad.... he is sick and is going to get worse who will take care of him well sai ofcourse. That wil be the start of his shift towards seeing the goodness of his DIL, and accepting her with all his heart hopefully like a daughter....
SaiRat is relatable because they are realistic, there is no trip and fall no movie romance, that does not happen in real life.... that is fantasy... this is real romance, eating food, nok jhok, teasing, pulling each others leg, caring, in short being domestic!
that is their beauty! they are relatable like a real couple and hence we are so attached to them!
