It happens at many places .....they all were bachlors and they are habituated with that money taking pattern.....in many middle class families children doesn't take pocket money same is the case with Pandya and Raavi's family so they are habituated to that ....Rishita is from different backgound so she's having difficulty to deal with it.....both are not wrong yet some weird things are so naturally inculcated in few that they don't find it weird

I don't think Shiva and Maami will ever patch up. They need conflict in the show, and Shiva vs. Maami will be content that keeps providing.
