Somehow I don't get the same indulgent vibe he had with Imlie earlier and I miss that - missing that special look (when he taught her in PG etc) makes me feel like he is not feeling the same way about her as he used to....which makes no sense...but thats how it comes across to me.

Hope there is some explanataion for why BBSB's reactions to Imlie seem different these days and that the original vibe gets back as the scenes get better.

blame Atif ji the mahaan director. He is absolutely directing Gashmeer to give such restrained expressions in Adi's scenes with Imlie bcos he likes "khadoos" Adi, who doesn't have fun. lol the dude thinks that Tom & Jerry chase scene should have been cut bcoz it didn't go with his "khadoos" Adi headcanon.😆

PD Adi was awesome bcoz PD directors were focused on showing ADITYA's love for Imlie. Here Atif is only interested in drama & his "artistic" dhuaan romance. 🤣

LOL I don't think there is anything that much to read into his expressions in the scene.

He isn't the type to moon over Imlie 24/7 to show his love for her😆.....his emotions for her come in all shades....aaj indulgence ka day nahin tha😆. He was in a more sober/serious mode probably drained from his earlier talk with Dev and other things weighing on his mind.

In the last study scene in PD, their relationship was in a different mode since he hadn't yet accepted his yearning for Imlie.....now he knows what he feels for her so it's not going to be the same.

I found the scene to be very much in the Adi-Imlie vibe otherwise so enjoyed it😊

Any episode where imlie seems to be back in her old element being her spirited chirpy self is a win to me. And especially if we get the vibe around adi imlie maintained 👍🏼

Though ngl, the story flow and inability to clearly see where we’re going right now has me frustrated, especially in regards to the sideys as I can’t ff I have to watch to be able to connect all things overall 😵 but I’ll try to ignore that part and focus on the adorable scene we got today and my imlu being her usual sunshine self

Thanks, spelano :) Haha glad if my reviews help you a bit....although honestly some days get too much for me also in terms of the frustration😆.....it's best to take a break then I tell myself😆.....

LOL I was able to zone out the sideys today actually.....it also helped that Imlie didn't have some WTF dialogue today to kill the mood of the scene😆.....aaj baksh diya humein😆

I guess back in PD, there was a longing for her (after time spent apart) and confusion of his feelings attached to it too. Right now everything is in the clear and he’s probably more tired with how they’ve been fighting this one battle so long.

But we are speculating and it should be clearer what he is thinking and feeling - his expression when he came in was off - and it continued that way for the full scene even when he said - I guess marriage is our kismet. I was unsure what to make of what he was trying to express - his growing frustration at the situation? or just plain bad acting? Earlier it was easier to read his feelings by his emoting - nowadays there could be multiple reasons and we can pick the one we like best - but it gives an unsatisfied feeling overall as to whether we are really getting the story flow...if there is one that is.

Sorry after a long time got one scene that was perfect and in my opinion could have been better if I could read BBSB better. MAybe tomorrow's epsidoe will bring that clarity :) Even the precap wala tap on her cheek seemed more like an indulgent uncle rather than the majnu Adi we lost somewhere!

What ??? That scene clearly showed how imlie brings out this carefree happy side of him. Khadoos banda doesn’t mean 24/7 khadoos rahe what even. There is a whole progression and arc to his character lol.

So the one that makes sense, the restrained adi realising his feelings gradually them bringing out a different side of him with him getting to be carefree and happy around this girl who brings out those traits in him doesn’t make sense but the usually ill informed about romance adi (to whom romantic stuff comes from his heart impulsively only for imlie) going full on teasing and flirty in the dhuaan sequence without any lead up to it makes.. sense?

Uhhh am sorry but where are these conspiracy theories coming from? Kuch bhi matlab sach main?..

Do people realize that adi was in different zone then she had legit walked out on him he had no assurance where this was going and just had an intense need to have her linked to him in whatever way keep that connect going not let it break.. now he has assurance the surety that she is his and she too has that toh kyon ab dukhi devdas ban ke.ghoome. they are in sukoon mode in terms of their relationship jaisa bhi hai they know what it is in all.it's reality and they don't fear losing each other.. as simple as that.. the expressions and everything was perfect for the mode they were on...there is a thing called moods and character arcs and graphs.. GM was perfectly fine and it was a perfectly directed scene and I have to.laugh at the assumption that everything is directed by atif too when last we know he was busy with nishvi scenes.. so.it.could be anyone and whoever it was did their job right.

Yess, didi ka mission haq dilao week I had to take a break too because it was bringing to me a point of tears nearly with frustration 🤣 but then I made the worst mistake of my life with doing a binge watch of that week ab bas reviews dekh ke decide karti hoon to watch or not if the week is a frustrating one 😆

I'll just add that people seem to be forgetting that at his core, Adi is mostly a SERIOUS PATRAKAAR only😆......the lighter, teasing moments from him are VERY rare😆.....yeah he has that side to him too but he's mostly a cranky, MAHA AKDU insaan only😆.

Which is why his default cranky mode is the one I feel is actually the most Adi-like out of all his shades as a character😆.....he does soften for Imlie in his own ways....he did in this scene towards the end also but that basic stern part of his nature will always remain.....especially Imlie ke case mein cuz he feels the right to scold her to make her focus on her goals and studies😆.

Bas do hi log hain jo Imlie ko daant ke padhaa sakte hain.....ek Adi, dusre BK😆......but aajkal Adi ne pura zimma uthaa liya hai😆.....and he's very VERY serious when it comes to her studies.....no carelessness tolerated there😆.
