It really bugs me and boggles me that neither Gautam nor Dhara have talked to Shiva- I mean actually sat down and talked. You know like, hey how is going? How are you doing? I wouldn’t mind even Gaumbi gyan to Shiva on married life. (i’d probably be irritated, but at least it’s expected)

I mean, Gaumbi and Dhara both spoke to Dev- for what? He and Rishitha love each other. Gaumbi also spoke to Krish about studies and what not. The only conversation like thing Gaumbi had with Shiva was when Shiva intervened between Krish and him, when Gaumbi says “Tujhe bhi pyar ho jayega”

I think it bugs me because in the OG, Kathir is a) much older b) has Kaka from the store to share his feelings. I mean he shares his feelings and frustrations with Kaka, no holds bar. Kaka is pivotal in being the vent for Kathir’s agony. But there is zero support here for Shiva. Shiva here is younger too based on our discussions. I hate to generalize, but generally guys in their early 20s are not the most mature- Shiva has proved his age time and again with his reactions. It makes me wonder how much of his anger and kaands could have been avoided if Gautam did fulfill his role as the so-called father.

Instead, Raavi and Shiva are left to mull over their lives without much direction. It’s like they have been plopped in the middle of the ocean on a piece of wood and told to make it to the shore. They are just floundering and trying to stay afloat any way they can.

Ok I’m in a mood. Sorry about the rant. Ignore me. 🙈
