No it’s ghost directed by KJo , just like DDLJ was ghost directed by Yash Chopra
BTW D-Day by Nikhil Advani was pretty good
Because it was KJO holding the strings in KHNH - the direction style gave it away
I did not like kal ho na ho, it wasnt really that good, they only cool character in that movie was Frankie
There's no proof that Kjo 👻 directed KHNH. He was the writer of the film, so obviously the movie would have his touch.
But even the story was not original and was copied/inspired from Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Anand.
Unfair to give credit to Kjo for KHNH when he himself hasn't made any technically better film where he was officially credited as the director.
No it’s ghost directed by KJo , just like DDLJ was ghost directed by Yash Chopra
But then who directed Parampara (1993) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) which were AWFUL. If Yash Chopra is really that flawless?
Funnily enough, when DDLJ came out the "ghost directing" rumours were there...
BUT when Dil To Pagal Hai came out and was so well received and noted for it's YOUTHfullness - this was all credited to Aditya Chopra, and he himself was speculated to have ghost-directed his father's film!!!
Kal Ho Naa Ho was written by Karan Johar and he had initially wanted to direct it so the film itself has his influence throughout. The characters and the scenes and the feel of the move is all Karan Johar because guess what he's the writer and producer.
When coming to Nikhil Advani, his next film Salaam-E-Ishq was very good. And watching it, you see nothing of K-Jo's influence. I haven't seen some of his work, but Patiala House was also very decent. Hero was beyond awful. And last year's Unpaused may be his best work.
It's hard to judge him because he is hit and miss. I don't know what or why that is. One thing you do notice when taking a look through his Filmography is the MIX of genres. He's done an animated film (Delhi Safari), an action-comedy shot in China (Chandni Chowk To China), a couple of action-thrillers, and even a cheap remake/rehash (Hero). This suggest his experimental streak. He should focus on what he's good at: drama/romance.
Because he didn't hire queen Aishwarya.

LOLOLOL
Did you possibly see me praising Aishwarya Rai in another thread and then decide that I must be a "fan" and it would hurt my feelings to see this weak attempt from you?
Babe I'm so sorry for you but I don't give a damn.
Funny to be accused of being an Aishwarya hater in some threads too, because I said something critical about her. The internet is full of funny people. And I ain't even joking.
😉
^Calm down. The post was for Mugda, not you. This forum keeps tagging people based on where you hit the reply button.
I don't even know what you like or don't like. Neither do I care about it. 😆
