What's with Badi Simar and Mata rani's sign

What's with simar saying this marriage is Mata Rani's sign in today's episode. If they had waited for another 5 mins Reema would have already been their. Then Aarav held the falling bride thinking it was Reema and here Simar is happy saying it's god's sign. If Aarav knew it was Simar 2 he himself would have pushed her down. Then in another he held her falling veil and told her he will take care of her only because he thought it was Reema. I don't know if the same would happen to Simar. What was the writer even thinking while writing the wedding scene.
