Not trying to be a spoilsport here, but whatever I have read about KM and seen their scenes, K is nothing like Shiva. I wouldn't say I like the same vibing between Shivi. They are WAY more intimate than KM, and somehow, despite all the cuteness, Shivi looks like something that is more in my head now.
As expected, CVās brushed everything between them under the carpet.
I can't imagine both of them making Googly eyes like KM at each other. That was a different vibe, but Shiviās characters aren't sketched like that. I am happy about the episode and reunion!
But, Shivi looks like what could be a bomb and came out to be a phuski bomb during Diwali!
Agreed Kathir is very different from Shiva. Kathir is mature, has a well-balanced outlook on life, and is very calm. Shiva, so far, has a streak of mischievous if his inner prankster nature is anything to go by, is an innocent little boy at heart, and is still struggling over portraying his emotions. Raavi is different from Mullai too. Raavi's misunderstanding for Shiva stemmed over the one reason that he left her alone. It seems much more innocent compared to Mullai's misunderstanding of Kathir in the initial days as she didn't know who he was as a person.
As such, I wouldn't like to see copy to copy scenes. They have a unique angle that should be explored meticulously, and I think one of the biggest steps they could do is to have ShiVi sit down and have a decent talk where no one else is involved. No nok-jhoks. No taunts of chipkali or bhoothnath. Just a simple discussion of who they are and what they expect in this relationship.
You're right, I don't think eye-locks fit for them. Eye-locks are typically reserved for people that are slowly getting to know each other for the first time. ShiVi have a lead on KM in that they've known each other from childhood. Instead, I think they are better suited to have small acts of physical romance be the leading factor of their relationship.
For example, them going out to the market buying groceries and Raavi grabs Shiva's hand and holds it.
