Man today did feel a bit rushed... like they should have shown some more romantic tension building scenes before there dance (might I add the song choice was poor). Though Sumbul killed it, felt Gashmeer gave up half way. The dance sequence seemed to appear out of nowhere unlike there hug in the village hut, was so organic. Gashmeer and Sumbul have really good chemistry. They can convey passion with just an eye contact.... I think the writers should focus more on that raw passion chemistry that they have than Bollywood dance numbers.

I get Malini's reaction... maybe now she will realize how Imlie must have felt. And tbh Imlie was happy for Malini. Like the scene where Anu sent a car for Malini and Adi was upset and spoke harshly you her, Imlie didn't like the way he spoke to Malini. Or when Malini was to go on a dinner date with Adi and she shared her excitement with Imlie. Imlie was yet again happy. I feel like both of them really do love each other they're just faced with consequences where they end up hurting each other.

I hope Malini isn't just a bichari at the end. Hope she gets a better track, maybe the one where she decides to focus on her career and get some awards in her field later on starts to date KC or whatever.

This episode that could have shown us a bit if KC... instead the dance.... like why is he so confident that he only can save Satyakam.

Hope when they start working on KC and Malini... even she gets to see how Adi and her seemed to a perfect match for superficial glace....both are educated good-looking come from good family backgrounds but is that all you need to marry someone.... Just how Adi realized that he never loved Malini... She was always a friend (If Nishant hasn't left maybe she wouldn't even be in his life) she was just the only girl be knew.... maybe that is the same with Malini.

Hope the show doesn't go full Sass bahu when the truth comes out. They should focus on the emotion each character has.... morally correct or not but this is what they feel and these are their actions. Justified or not is a different story.

I think most of our disappointment stems from the fact that we have seen them do crucial transitions so well before.....the best example ofcourse being the hut scene which was such a sensitive transition to do vis a vis Adi realizing his feelings and then wanting to express them through that tenderly heartbreaking hug..... and they did it so beautifully that it started to make us have faith in them managing to navigate the organic path this relationship will take through every stage.

Yeh nahin socha tha ki woh transition would one day bring us to dhuaan romance😆.....where the director seems to have imagined a whole other level of "symbolism" in his head regarding the dhuaan but didn't bother weaving it into the actual current plot point dhang se😆......artistic imagination soch li about Imlie ki reflection kis surface mein dikhaani hai, dhuaan kaise udaana hai, naya soundtrack kahaan insert karna hai to test it out😆....but yeh bhool gaye ki story mein yeh point dhang se transition kiya hi nahin hai😆.

They are now treating Adi-Imlie scenes with some kind of strange pressure of "romance kaise dikhaayein" rather than letting it flow organically - which is when they are at their best. Yeh jo pressure le rahe hain about what degree of physical closeness to show and how to show it.....that's what's making it all look gimmicky. If they just let these two flow along their natural interactions, the scenes would have come out more convincingly rather than needing to make grand props out of their emotions😆.

The hut wala hug scene is effective to this date not cuz of the beautiful visual of the blue window with rain falling outside😆....but because of that moment of taal mel where both of them were hesitatingly reaching out to hold each other before Adi pulls her into the hug and you feel the sukoon settling in on both of them.

I get that Adi-Imlie are being shown at a "different" stage of their relationship now.....lol but as you said, it doesn't really feel like it.....feels more like a rut of sorts where they are just going around in circles rather than us getting the feel of them advancing to a deeper stage of emotion in their relationship.....token physical closeness will ultimately feel meaningless if you don't manage the emotional closeness in tandem.

As for AM ka 7 saal ka rishta....lol but that's always been the case.....others prop it up more than these two do....especially Adi - lol for all his grand bhaashans about khubsoorat dosti, he's least bothered otherwise in really knowing or understanding Malini😆......but yeah, others keep hyping this relationship to be more than it ever actually was😆.....7 saal ke liye medal chahiye sabko lagta hai😆

You nailed it… Previously there was a flow… hence the scenes had a deeper meaning and we could feel the emotions that they were trying to convey…. Now because of all the disconnect, it just seems random ki didkhana hain isliye dikhaya.

If they would have followed Aditya double NDE with Imlie follow that path where one side is the emotions and other side is didi jaap, then it would have flowed well as we could have connected with her kashmakash…but they showed her OTT didi jaap and then .. they show her oscillating from one end to other where at one point I start thinking does she love Aditya or Malini 😆

Haha thank you ji😆.....I did have this song in mind for them for a VM at one point actually but it never came together😆.....phir "Uthta dhuaan toh kaise chhupaayein" waali line se yaad aaya ki yeh yahin daal deti hoon given all the dhuaan dhuaan in this scene😆.....tried using Piya Tose but uska relevant song portion was not long enough to fit the WHOLE dance sequence so went with this instead😆.

You know funnily I was going to ask you and Fary to use the original Piya Tose for this edit. Then you said that it was not long enough to fit, so makes sense why you used this song instead. The edit is really beautiful and gave all the feels with the different song. Thank you so much for all your efforts. Love that you are making these beautiful edits to really show our favourite couple in the best way to really get the "pheels". Tagging NM also to thank her for her edits as well again.
