I don’t remember exact examples but good shows have been changed beyond recognition, or have been shutdown due to low TRPs. SP is famous for being ruthless.

I hope makers switch to a positive track and the TRP folks actually like it I don’t want a premature end or PS turning into a run of the mill serial.

Usually makers drastically change storylines when the trp falls, and that changes are never good .

As much as I want the makers to bring in sensible tracks, I don't want the trps to fall too much because it will create undue pressure on them and the channels interference which is never good usually 🤕🤕

Another unpopular opinion(chappals are welcome... but remember I am on YKB withdrawal 🤷‍♀️):

We got amazing ShiVi scenes this week, and it terms of their emotional space we got exceptional progress. Why is there so much unhappiness about no PP scenes?

Believe me, I love romance as much as the next person, but just having two people mechanically go through a checklist of “romantic” scenes will not be enjoyable. We think it can be... but it won’t be enjoyable. You need to have an emotional backing. And for that emotional backing, there has to be a story. Today was a crappy episode, but it was still needed to move the story forward. For whatever warped reason, writers chose this Mukteshwar sequence to jolt the kids together. Yes it is cliched, yes it is definitely rushed but the family bonds need to go back to some level of normalcy for ShiVi to even start processing their feelings towards each other. Shiva at the very least will be too worried about his family(no not just Dhara, there is unrest in the house, with everyone including Krish depressed, any normal person would not be thinking about his wife and loving her) to think romantically about Raavi.

This is not meant to be an admonition, it’s more of a gentle reminder to be patient. KD promised PP scenes, we got that. This has been a good week for ShiVi. Let’s hope to get consistent scenes going forward. But I would like to reiterate, focusing the story only on ShiVi without letting the story grow organically for others too, will eventually affect the ShiVi story line. We will get token romantic scenes, but we will miss out on beautiful story. (Example, baththub scene, while tantalizing has already lost its charm for me- I might forget about it in a month or two. The “tu haste hue bohot alag dikhtha hai” scene will stay a long time with me)

Rant over. I think I should probably go underground, change my username, and change my profile pic from Garfield to Hobbes. 🙈

But these Dhara puppets are not only saying she's right to beat them but also she brought them together with the batwara. Even Raavi who was sensible up until now, was praising how Dhara manipulated the situation in the kitchen before the puja. I praised Raavi for telling Dhara the truth and they took that away too.

To think I used to praise their blind faith in each other.

I really liked the parts with the younger lots, apart from some cringe lines.

I actually don't mind not getting ShiVi scenes all the time. It won't make sense too as well. I just hate how their relationship centres around Dhara. This bhabi and maa obsession is too much now.

Apart from that I really liked Rishita. I felt so happy for her. It was very unrealistic but atleast she's getting praised for something she actually did.

This track cannot get over soon enough 😢 I think they just dragged this haveli track much too long. Now no one makes sense- all characters(except maybe Krish) have been butchered.

Though it looks like they have a bank of 15 or so episodes right? Oh man, I wish they would just get on with the story. We may only see a change in track next month 😐

On a side note- dialogues have majorly deteriorated. I wish we could get old dialogue writers back, if they have left.

I was just reading some of your talks about suhaag raat. It was hilarious. I can always count on you all for a laugh.

But we all know even after ShiVi's suhaag raat they'll go and hug everyone and sing YKB and give credit to their bhabi-ma for it 🤪.
