I would pick being a muggle over a squib without any hesitation, with my eyes closed, any day. Ignorance is bliss for muggles cuz they don't know what they're missing but squibs are damned to a painful reminder of the shitty hand they were dealt, every day and moment, for absolutely no fault of theirs, just owing to the fact that they were born that way. Squibs are then reduced to second class citizens with lowly jobs cuz they're no good in the world of wizardry. No wonder Filch was such a pathetic jerk.

Thank god this is a hypothetical question, counting my blessings. I'd first try to untangle the knots in those chains with my two hands ... very, very meticulously. After that, I'd try cutting or at least damaging the weaker links with the chainsaw. You never know. If I truly ran out of options, I'd just sit there ... trying something or another, hoping for something to happen or someone to turn up till I pass out of dehydration. I'd never chop my legs off. Not only would it be excruciatingly painful, there isn't anyone on the standby to rescue me and neither would I be able to get outta there with my legs gone. I would eventually just bleed to death with all the blood gushing out of me.

I'd play a supporting role in a big banner movie. Look at Swara Bhaskar after all those supporting roles. Bad example? Okay, look at Alia after Gully Boy. Being lauded for my acting skills would help me land a low-budget indie flick with rave reviews from critics next, at which point I'd become the next hot thing in town that walks the line between commercial and critical success.

Why would I wanna get bumped off in an accident while I'm still young, rendering all that money, fancy toys and penthouses useless? I pick a full life cuz I'd rather be "poor" and make do with what I got. As long as there is life, there are possibilities to turn things around. Happiness is more of a state of mind than a reflection of your financial status anyway, otherwise we wouldn't have so many people who are rich but as miserable as they come.

1. I would rather play the supporting role in an MCU movie. Who knows, I could be the Aditi Roy Haidari of Padmavat who ended up walking away with more praises than Deepika (the main lead) 😆

2. Remain a muggle and be ignorant that anything related to Harry Potter even exists (Yawn).

3. I have no idea who Riley or Maya is. Had to google it and apparently Maya is pessimistic. God keep me far far away from soul-sucking-pessimistic people. I’ll choose Riley thanks!

5. How high up are the shackles? Sawing my legs from calf down might be easier. I’ll even do it thigh down. I’ll use the movie “Mann” to motivate myself. But there better be a means to stop the blood flow otherwise I’ll bleed out to death 🙂

Anything too high up above the knee might be too much. I’ll likely starve to death.
