LOL its not a different accent; its a Birmingham accent; if Raj was Scottish or from Newcastle or even Aussie or Kiwi then there would perhaps be a similar issue in the understanding. Indian folks at times need subtitles when they watch Netflix (seen subtitles in the BG when tv stars like Anita Hassanandani was watching something on Netflix on her IG stories and it really surprised me that people would watch an American show with subtitles , but I digress). I am not criticizing or demeaning anyone's English skills; i am just saying that it is difficult for people for whom English is a second language to understand accents that are as thick as Raj's.

As for deciding based on a post; I will reserve my comments there because its not like my opinion will make a difference anyways.

Regarding the accent, I could understand most of the English shows without any subtitles during my college days. Once on job, for few years, I had to handle only Indian clients and I missed the touch with any other accent. So later when I had to connect with foreign clients, especially the ones from UK, US or Canada, it was difficult for me. I had to concentrate only on what they were speaking, nothing else. So whatever I have said earlier was in that context.

Anyways, if you are interested, I would like to understand your views too. I don't know if your opinion will make a difference or not, but I am always interested to know different perspectives and based on our previous interactions or my observation on your posts, I'd love to know your views. Again, it's up to you :)

I enjoyed listening to the interview. He has a good voice and knowing Raj I knew it won’t be about his personal life . I am glad the focus was on his career . He is a tremendous actor and focus should be only on that

I am not bothered about the offscreen promotions as long as he performs well .I thought he would be uncomfortable enacting intimate scenes but I was surprised when I saw him in romantic scenes . I have no complaints.

I think his true fans will support him as along as he performs well and people who are interested in offscreen promotions will never be happy no matter how much he promotes Sairat . Seeing the way he is treated on Twitter , I am happy he blocked few users for his sanity. Every now and then some folks wants him to be replaced or will boycott his tag when some offscreen drama happens .

I was disappointed that it's short, but I am happy that there's nothing about his personal life. I was never into this offscreen thing prior to this show and I won't follow anyone on SM. So for me, the main focus is on what I see onscreen.

Sometimes the offscreen mess becomes so triggering but at the end of the day, I watch the show because of the entire cast(except one) and especially SaiRat. Yes, I feel he should appreciate the fans but I can't decide how much he does and how much he doesn't just based on few posts. I go by his acting and my gut feeling. After all the butchering done to Virat, if I still want to understand him, it's only because of Neil.

I don't understand, how can people think that the story or direction is in his handsanyway, even I am not active on SM so I have nothing to say here. But I never thought of this.. his account is not managed by him?! Quite possible.

When he is blamed for story , screenplay and screen time for his fiancé I feel bad for him . If he was so influencial he would have done wonders for his character . In today’s interview he clearly mentioned he loves to have a track focusing on missions . Why are we not seeing that if he was connected to change storylines . Yesterday on Twitter I saw he was bashed and asked for replacement . That’s why I feel he gets unnecessary hate .

I had guessed about his account long back . The way the account is handled is the biggest proof . It’s very similar to his partner and before this he managed it differently . He might still login and post here and there but everyday sharing story about the show, his character is so unlike him . I have noticed he immediately likes his partners post . I feel either he gets a text message saying there is a new post so he better like it 😆or someone logs on his behalf to do the honors. I believe he replies to fans occasionally because from the screenshots I have seen its definitely him . His better half cannot be so diplomatic 😆.

I agree! Just look at his character, how it's butchered. He clearly mentioned that it's a remake of KD. If he's so influential, he would first do changes to his character😆

So if he gets replaced, story will change? Copying KD will change? Or the so called 3rd lead will change?

I totally agree, Neil is awesome actor, he is the sole reason we still connect with virat... The way he said acting means reacting that's what he do and gain our hearts even with few dialogues....unless and until he is good onscreen I don't mind anything... Even I don't understand why people want to replace Neil that too when he is doing his job right.... I am not sure about account handling, so no comments....

I believe it’s not easy to emote when there are no dialogues . His reactions are always on point . Anyone can say lengthy dialogue but these nuances and subtle expressions are tough to get it right . I am glad Neil is playing Virat . When the promo aired , I was disappointed seeing Neil but now he is my favorite .

What I love is, even in family scenes where camera is not focusing on him, you can just read through his expressions. Me and my brother watch some serials with my mom and we make fun of such things, like how the person's expression whose standing behind is so clueless and once camera focuses on that person, the expression changes.

Neil's such little nuances is ❤️. I started watching the show because Neil is playing a cop. Now that cop angle doesn't come much😆, but I do enjoy his acting😳
