After re-watching the episode, I think the following ShiVi scenes (I'll ignore every non-ShiVi scene except the Rishita/Krish hug scene since they were all bad đ) But here are the following edits I would've made had I been the script writer (by no means claiming I am a better writer here since some of the stuff I write makes no sense to me either đ).
1. After pulling the boulder off Raavi's legs @2:19 and hearing her discomfort, Shiva should have extended a hand out towards her. No words, just a hand with the scene going like this:
In the midst of the rubble and never ending wind, Shiva stands tall, gazing at Raavi. His eyes soften when he hears her cough. Swallowing, he extends a hand in her direction and Raavi gazes at him with wonder.
Raaviâs fingers tremble. She was used to Shivaâs hate. She was used to Shivaâs mockery. But standing there was just Shiva. The boy she protected in her childhood. The boy she watched grow up into the man he is today. Raaviâs lips curled upwards as she reached for his hand. Once she placed it into his palm, Shivaâs fingers interlocked with hers.
He pulled her upward, noting every expression on her face. And once he noticed the wince, without a thought, he put one arm under her knees and the other across her back to pick her up. Raaviâs fingers clenched onto his kurta, âBut you are hurt,â she whispered.
He glanced at her, âI thought I told you that I would never leave you alone.â He stabilized his grip, âDonât worry about me. Just worry about yourself.â
2. Instead of the singing @15:00, I wish Shiva tried to wake her up by giving her false accounts of their childhood, and she fights him back tiredly by correcting him (the fan girl within me would love to know more about their childhood â¤ď¸, so this is more of a selfish scene)
Shiva gently patted Raavi's head, "H-hey c-chipkali." He couldn't let her close her eyes. His dushman should always be awake and lively, ready to counter him at any time. Swallowing, he felt his throat choke, "R-remember the time you stole my lunchbox? Just so you could taste Dhara-bhabi's cooking," when she groaned, he smiled softly. She was responding to him! "H-how did you like the dabeli?"
Raavi stirred as she let out a slow sigh, "It's... it's not dabeli. D-Dhara Di m-made c-chole," her eyes opened for a moment, and he couldn't help but pray she would be okay.
"Y-you've proved to be blind as always," Shiva attempted to adjust his weight so he wouldn't be crushing Raavi, but with the rubble, it was hard to move without losing his balance and falling on her. "It's not chole, it was dabeli."
Raavi let out a half-hearted laugh. She tiredly shook her head as she closed her eyes again. Shiva's eyes widened. She couldn't close her eyes. She just couldn't. Raavi's eyes shut tightly, "I-It was definitely chole," his hand dropped to her cheek, cupping it. He used the base of his thumb to rub her cheek and she opened her eyes once again. "I-I know because it was your f-favorite."
"Y-you know so much about me," Shiva choked out as his eyes were riveted on hers.
Raavi nodded her head as a tear slipped out of her right eye. Shiva quickly caught it with his thumb. "I-If we make it out here... I'll make you chole," her eyes were closing again, startling Shiva. "I-I p-promise," she mumbled. "A-as an apology."
"I thought I told you that I don't care about apologies," he used his elbows to support her as he used both his hands to cup her cheeks. "And I thought I told you that I would never leave you alone!" He took his eyes off her for a brief second to observe the rubble around him. Dropping his gaze back to her, he stroked her cheek, "So just trust me."
Raavi's hand reached for his kurta. She nodded her head as another tear rolled down her cheek.
