Trust me that i wouldn’t have any issues Mahi mourning Taimoor romantically and not mourning Farhad, had they not shown her say that ‘she’s only doing this to save her family’s reputation and had she been Lahore’s Mahi, the same Mahi whom Farhad has loved, things would be different’, these words hold a lot of gravity, here she was saying that Farhad’s love was right but she’s helpless and in such situation Farhad was the first man in her life, her first confession, rejection and let’s say even her male friend, so in normal scenario wouldn’t it be logical to show her mourn him for once ? Instead they are trying to show that his death moved her not because she genuinely cared for him but because she’s scared of his baddua, was he that much valueless for her? And should I feel bad for such a human being who only cares once it comes to her reputation only?
I know Charu that you don’t agree with me, but I can never sympathize with Mahi after this, she started everything, messed it up too after constantly being warned by Rida and Bhabi, also his curse wasn’t out of the blue, she behaved in the worst possible way ( I used to think that she acted about all that library claims but now it looks like she meant it) and then he doesn’t deserve to retort too?

Now I feel like Farhad cursing her was just a minor retortion, had it been someone else with a better spine than Farhad, he would have just mocked her hypocrisy back and spilled the beans to her family here. I wonder what the scenario would be had the roles been reversed and Farhad would’ve played her for a week and called her useless, I know I would’ve said the same thing then too.

You can argue that she offered friendship but the story has clarified that Mahi along with her girl gang knew and saw that it was love brewing up in his mind and she enjoyed her ‘4 din ka majnu’

And rest I agree with you, she can choose anyone for herself, heck Farhad wouldn’t have cared to look at her (as he literally had women throwing themselves at him) had she not started with her fake strong woman nonsense and non existence intelligence. The problem with the plot is, the writer showed Farhad a very desirable man to the women around him but made him spineless enough to waste his life for a woman who doesn’t have anything for him, neither love nor respect not even affection but plane guilt that too to save her own fake ass.

Sach is Mahi became useless worthless selfish spineless and all other things when it was known that she doesn't love Farhad 😆 In the next epi if she tells us she had feelings , Farhi will be the divine couple again and Mahi will be everyone's favoirite 😍 jo Farhad ko pyar na kare wo is duniya mein zinda rehne kaabil thodi na hota hai. Wo curse karne laayak hi thi. I got it.
