I guess they cannot do intense stuff everyday especially when Palllavi is just coming back to her normal joyful self. This is a period of slow discovery...there will be more friendship interspersed with intense moments.

Shower scene though small is meant to convey washing off all the dirt , facades, layers of pretense around them in the shower zraghsv dropped his tough guy act and ler know his fears. And Pallavi realized her attraction for him. And realization that this is the first time anyone has needed her. She has never been needed and asked to stay like this. So both are looking at each other with new pair of eyes .

Basically a Hindi version of once bitten, twice shy. She was telling Pallavi to be cautious because Vijay's arrest could be similar to what happened with Nikhil.
