What a beautiful chapter! This makes me feel so wistful. This was the kind of show I signed up for! The makers should hire you! This is what Family is about.

Though we didn't have many solo ShiVi scenes, their small stolen moments amidst family were beautiful. Love Krish, Rishita, and Raavi's bond and Dev being their victim. 😂

That day after breakfast,

“Krish sambhalke jaana aur jaldi laut aana”, Dhara shouted from her room as Krish and Raavi prepared to leave.

“Aur kahi khare hoke fu fu nahi kar na”, Raavi teased making Krish's eyes go wide in horror. He looked at Shiva nervously who was looking at the duo with suspicion. Shiva was in the sitting area with Dev going through some papers before he left for store.

“Kya bhabi dhulai karni hai kya aap ke Shivji ke haton!”,Raavi laughed pulling his cheeks. Dev shook his head. This two plus his darling wife had managed to confine him in his room. Though he was sitting out now, he would have to run away whenever Siddhi came out in the hall.

“Karni chaiye. Tere vaje se main kaha kaha fas jata hu”, Dev said shaking his head disappointingly,

“tum dono ko jana hai ya nahi”, Shiva exclaimed as the Devar Bhabi duo laughed at Dev's expression. He felt pity for his brother and also proud of his brother-wife-sister in law's pranks.

“Tu duniya ke pehla pati hai joh biwi ko jaane ke liye utabla ho raha hai”,

“abb tujhe ruk ne ko keh ke mera kya faida. Main khud bhi nikal raha hu kuch der mein”,

“accha toh dono saath mein ruk jaate toh kya karte?”,

“Tu gaya nahi”, Shiva got up and Krish immediately ran out. Raavi chuckled at Krish then turned to Shiva. After a brief look she too left while Shiva sighed and sat back.

Krish drove along the road chatting merrily with Raavi abouta random incident happened in his college. They stopped by the tailor to pick Raavi's cloths. Then Raavi had the urged to eat golgappe and an ever enthusiastic Krish followed. Raavi saw a Shiv bracelet that she liked instantly and bought it. She knew Shiva had broken his bracelet recently and didn’t get to buy a new one. Roaming around the market for some more time, they decided to leave. Just then Shiva called to inquiry whether they reached or not. Raavi replied they were about to reach making it sound like they had already reached. As Shiva cut the call, Raavi and Krish resumed their conversation on a recent gossip. Suddenly a van came in front of theirbike prompting him to apply brake,

“Kya hua bhai? Yaha pe no parking nehi likha matlab yeh nahi ki aap yaha gari park karo”, Krish exclaimed as 4 men came out of the van. Raavi got down from the bike and narrowed her eyes at the van. She had seen it. Wasn’t it parked outside their house when they were leaving? She had noticed this white colored vehicle but didn’t pay any attention.

“aap log kuch der pehle bhi pandya niwas ke saamne the na? Kahi aap humare picha toh nahi kar rahe hai?”, Krish widened his eyes hearing Raavi and took a close look at those men. They surely looked like rowdies. Three of them had sticks also. Why were these rowdies stopping them?

“bhabi yeh log toh gunde lagte hai? Kahi yeh log hamare kidnap toh nahi kar ne wale!”, Raavi sharply turned to stare at Krish who was giving her horrified expression. Kidnap!! Their? But why?

“yeh dono ko pakdo aur gadi mein bithao”, both turned to look at the man giving instructions. He might be the leader of the gang. Truly they were going to be kidnapped?

“Aap log hamare kidnap karne aaye ho?”, Raavi asked the leader meekly who gave her a gruff look. Then something happened that the goons never ever experienced or ever thought of experiencing in their life. The to be captives moods took a 360 degree turn from fearful to excited,

“sach mein kidnap karne wale ho? Krish dekha hum kidnap hone wale hai”,

“haa bhabi bilkul bollywood style”,

“kidnap kar ni thi toh mere bhoothnath ke sar kar lete.Kitna romantic hota. Chalo devar ke saath kar rahe ho gossip karne ko mil jayega ”,

“kya bhabi! Shiva kabhi isska excitement samajh nahi patah aur sarah fun bigad deta. Hum lucky hai ek saath kidnap ho rahe hai”,

“ha re Krish aur soch jab bachane aayega tab kitna action milega. Uska biceps finally koyi kam mein lage ga. Hayye. Areeh aplog jaldi karo nah”, shock would be a very very simple statement for what the goons felt at that moment. They were turning their heads from Raavi to Krish and back again as they talked a mile per second making it difficult for others to keep up with them. The leader shook his head and made to grasp Raavi who looked too eager to get kidnapped. He didn’t have to force them in the van. They went in willingly making the goons look at each other.

“bhabi mujhe na highway ki Alia Bhatt jaise feel aa rahahai”,

“tujhe inn mein se kaunsa mushtandao se pyar hone wala hai”, Krish made faces hearing that question, “par mujhe na aishwarya jaisi feel ho raha hai.”,

“unka bhi kidnap hua tha kya”,

“woh film fanney khan, waha hua tha na”,

“ha yaad aaya. Woh celebrity thi usse kidnap kya gaya.Par waha bhi kidnapper ke saath kuch hua tha na”,

“Tu na zaroori baat pe dhyan de. Dekh main bhi celebrity hu aur mera bhi kidnapping ho raha hai.Main hamesha kehti thi Somnath ke sabse pretty aur famous hi hu. Shiva ko toh aab manna padega hi ki main kitni famous hu”,

“Itni famous ki teri kidnapping ki jaye”,

“agar tum dono aapna muh band nahi ki na.....”, the leader turned to threaten them with his gun but Krish interrupted too early,

“nahi nahi!! Tape nahi lagana. Tape chudate waqt nahbohat dard hota hai. Shiva ne mere saath ek baar kiya tha. Dhara bhabi ne jab woh tape uthaya aisa lag jaise koyi muh hi khich li ho”,

“sachme!! Shiva ka nah kuch nahi ho sakta. Phir bhi uss nejoh kiya accha kya. Aab hum sabdhan rahenge. Gundaji, please yeh tape matt lagaye. We promise hum poore raasta baat nahi karenge. Aap ka gadi ka kasam”,

“aay ladki agar abhi ke abhi muh band nahi kiya toh tere pyare dever ke khopdi yahi uda dunga samjhi?”, he pressed the gun at Krish's head then turned forward,

“kya ladki!! Somnath ki sabse khoobsurat ladki bolni chaiye tha. Koyi nahi. Chod dete he. Ek lauta devar ka jaan ka sawal hai”, Raavi muttered under her breath making Krish gulp and whisper to her,

“kya barbara rahi hai bhabi? Marwaogi kya”, Raavi indicated jipped mouth pouting slightly.

1 and half hour later,

The leader goon looked at his captives in pure distaste. He liked his hostages fearful and panicky. But these two were anything but panicky. In fact they were excitedly looking around as the vehicle came to stop in front of a abandoned godown. Why did he feel like they would start their blabbering again?,

“Haww, aise jaga Somnath mein bhi hai? Aap na hote toh hume pata bhi nahi chalta”, he felt like that because they were going to do exactly that. He glared at Krish who was giving him appreciative nod. Raavi suddenly looked like as if she just had the best thought in the world.

“yaar Krish, hum kidnap huye hai. Hume selfie nahi leni chaiye iske yaad mein”,

“kya idea nikale hai bhabi”,

“leader ke saath leni chaiye na. Chal idhar aa. Leader chacha aap bhi aao na. Ghabrao matt. Main world ki best selfies leti hu”, the goons watched in horror as the two idiots took selfie with their leader showing v sign.

“leader chacha aapko nahi pata aap kitne famous hone wale ho. Somnath ke sabse khoobsurat ladki ko kidnap ki hai aap ne. Usske sath photo khichi. Main toh insta pe post bhi karunga. Aap ko toh aabse kidnapping ka demand aayega. Waise aap ka nam kya hai?”, The leader was taken aback momentarily with their antics but came to reality quickly and shouted angrily,

“Yeh mobile de hume jaldi. Gadhero dekh kya rahe ho. Chin lo inke phones. Andar le chalo inhe”, Raavi had done what she wanted to do by then. She had whatsapp the photo to the family group. Then she gave it willingly, knowing very well her family would be here soon.

“nahi nahi. Chin ne ki zaroorat nahi. Hum de rahe hai”,

“ Sambhalke rakhna aapne pass bhaiya. Iss gareeb ka amanat samajh na. Pichle hafte hi kharide hai. Brand new. Gaumbi mujhe naya nahi dene wala. Kamse kam aur 5 saal yeh chalane ko kaha”,

“mere wala tod sakte ho. Mujhe naya lene ko mil jayega iss bahane. Pehle kanjoos maasi nahi le dete the aur aab kanjoos pati”,

“par mere wala wapas dene parega jaate waqt, ha”,

“tum log khare khare inn ka bakwas kya sun rahe ho. Lechalo andar aur bandho inko chair pe”, the goons pulled the duo inside the building and tied the two with chairs,

“Woah bhabi, iss room ko toh dekh, aapna dukan ka backroom lag raha hai”

“Ha. Matlab waha bhi kisiko chupaya jaa sakte hai. Bhoothnath ko waha aise bandh rakhe toh kaisa rahega",

"Kya bhabi hum kidnao huye hai aur aapko romance sujh rahe bai", this earned Krish a confused glare from Raavi but ignoring him, she turned to the goons,

"aap logo ko nah isse aur gandha kar na chaiye. Yeh drum,box wagera aur bhi jyada hone chaiye. Aur andhera bohat andhera wala mohal karni chaiye. Warna yun kidnap wali feel nahi aataa”, the leader stuffed a cloth in their mouth in irritation and left the room leaving a goon at watch.

It was lunch time and they were hungry. None came to save them yet and Raavi cursed her bhoothnath in her mind for being so inactive in social media. What wiuld happen to his not so cute finger if he opened whatsapp or used went online in the day! Then cursed Rishita being super active still not seeing her message. She wondered she did all the time in there if not checking messages. She cursed herself next. She should have called when she had the chance. No, instead she went to take selfie. She had this desire to smack Krish's head for not givimg her a better idea. She opted for cursing him in her mind too. The leader came into the room and Krish instantly started making noise getting his attention. The leader opened his mouth highly irritated but didn’t open Raavi's making her glare.

“Kitna bakwas lagta hai aise muh bandh rakkho toh. Pyaas lag gayi. Leader chacha thoda pani peela do na”, Raavi eagerly nodded. Her mouth cloth was taken and they were allowed water. The moment they finished, the leader proceeded put the cloth again but Raavi had already started speaking,

“Nahi nahi nahi nahi. Wapas matt dalo. I shapat hum baat jyada nahi karenge”,

“haa ha”,

“Chacha ji. Ho sake toh kuch khane ke liye bhi de do na.Bhuk lagi hai”,

“ayy ladki. Tu mayke mein ghum ne nahi aayi. Kidnap huwa hai tera”,

“par main toh mayke hi jane wali thi. Aapne jaane nahidiya toh usska compensate toh aap ko hi dena padega nah!”,

“correct”,

“aur hum aap ke captive hai. Captive o ka seva karoge na toh sawab bhi milega aur well behaved captive bhi. Humari tarah”,

“aur hum duwa bhi karenge khub. Dhara bhabi se bhi kahenge karne ko. Kya hai nah unka mannat aur duwa hamesha pura hota hai”,

“idea accha hai Krish..”,

“aee tum dono abhi chup nahi huye nah toh....”, he was interrupted by his phone. He hurriedly received it.

“haa boss....bilkul utha li hai. Par yeh seth ke betikuch jyada hi bolti hai, uska devar bhi.......ji boss..... Abhi karne hi walehai.....aap tension matt lo.....jai Somnath”,

“abhi aap dhamki dene wale call karne wale ho na?”

“Bhabi, maine kabhi socha hi nahi aise scenes live and exclusive dekhne ko milega”, without sparing them a word the leader called up someone,

“jay Somnath Janardhan Seth” , Raavi and Krish looked at each other in shock hearing the name. Were they supposed to kidnap Rishita?,“teri beti humare kapje mein hai”, and they were miskidnapped. Hard life.

“arreh arreh. Sirf beti kapje mein hai se nahi hota. Beti se baat bhi toh karana padhta hai? Dekhane ke kiye usse aap kitna torture kar rahe ho”, Krish nodded eagerly to Raavi who was smiling all too sweetly, “hum se baat karaiye na papa se. Main unhe batayungi aap logo ka budget kitna kaam hai. Kitna door le aaye hume,Somnath ke bahar, highway se bhi baad”,

“arreh woh mitthai wale dukan ko bhi piche chod aya”,

“Haa mithai.....”,

“aapna muh band rakh. Sethji agar beti zinda wapas chaiyena toh humare boss ka demand pura karo. Woh contract hume de doh. Warna tere beti aur usska bandar devar dono ko Allah ke pyare kar doonga”, with a look at the duo, the leader left the room.

“yeh galat bola. Hum already sabke pyaare hai. Itna cute sa sweet sa hai hum dono”.

Raavi and Krish started gossiping with the goon that was there to guard. They had inquired about his family. His name was Mohan. Then they started describing their family. In next 2 hours, mohan had all Pandyas name , their birthdate, their neighbors history, latest gossips of Somnath and Krish's upcoming drama in College all memorized. For the first time he witnessed someone talking so much in just an hour. The duo had then got to know it was his first kidnap and went on to encourage him, telling him filmy kidnap saga. Mohan felt banging his head on the wall would feel far better than hearing this two go on and on.

The three occupants of the room looked up as the door opened with a thud suddenly. Raavi and Krish grinned happily as Dev came in looking at them worried and enraged. But they frowned as Dev moved forward to hit Mohan first who instead of defending himself folded his hand in front of him immediately.

“bhai sab aap inke parivar wale hai?”

“parivar wale!!! Yeh mere saage jeth hai”,

“aur mere saga bada bhai. Dev namaste kar Bhaiya ko”,

“Bhaiya bohat accha hai. Hamare bohat khatir dari ki.Chai ya thanda bhi pilane wale the par tum log aa gaye”,

“kahi thandai toh nahi pila diya tum dono ko? Kya ajeebo gareebo batein kar raha hai?”, Raavi – Krish grinned as Dev unbind them and checked them for any injuries,

“aap innke jo bhi ho. Somnath aap ka bhala kare. Aur innke pati ko mera salam dena. Hum unnke abhari hai joh woh aise ladki ko jhel rahe hai”, Mohan immediately ran away while Raavi looked offended by his talks. What did he mean by aisi larki!!! Dev was amused as to what made the goon say such words. But with this two, he could surely put guesses. Shiva and Gaumbi ran into the room. Seeing Raavi and Krish, they breathed out in relief. Shiva immediately hugged the two.Gaumbi put his hands over their heads,

“Shukar hai ki tum dono salamat ho”,

“salamat? Gaumbi inn dono ke jaga goondon ka halat kharap dikha mujhe. Ek toh abhi mafi mangke gaye hai mujhse aur tujhe ashirvad bhi diya”, Dev told Shiva. They broke the hug but Shiva didn’t leave Raavi. He held her tightly to himself which she reciprocated equally resting her head on his shoulder. Janardhan Seth entered hurriedly then sighed seeing the two unscratched.

“Hume maf kar dena beta. Humare wazese tum dono ko yeh sab sehna pada”,

“arreh nahi uncle. Hath matt jodiye”,

“hum aapke shukar guzar hai janardhan ji. Agar aap nahote toh inn dono ka pata lagane mein aur bhi der ho jata”, all the Pandyas smiled at Janardhan gratefully.

“Aab ghar chal. Sab kitna tension mein hai”.

Prafulla had cried out the moment Raavi came into her sight. She might be evil or selfish. But her love for her children had always been true. And Raavi was special to her more than her own son. The day her parents died she had taken sworn to provide her with all the happiness. She had raised her so delicately hiding from the harsh world. It was only Shiva who dared to hurt her darling daughter. She was still not comfortable with the idea of her daughter spending her whole life with that hot headed person. But she tried to keep quiet for Raavi. She looked really happy with him. Even Prafulla had to admit the fact that these two hardly cared about anything else when together. It was like they were centre of each others universe where only they mattered. That was enough for her to step back. When she heard her lovely daughter was kidnapped she couldn’t hold back. She hurried to Pandya Niwas cursing Shiva and the Pandyas.

“Aee mami saans to lene de usse. Chipkali ka masi hai isska matlab thodi nah hai aise chipke ga”, Raavi breathed out as Prafulla released her from her bone crushing hug. Prafulla turned to Shiva with accusing tone,

“Tu kuch matt bol Siva. Yeh joh bhi ho raha hai ne tere wajese ho rahe hai. Na meri beti tujhse rishta jodta na aaj usspe yeh noubat aati”,

“chup ho ja Prafulla”,

“kyun? Sahi toh keh raha hu na main. Yeh jahil gawar.....”,

“maasiii”, “ayyy Prafulla”, Raavi and Suman exclaimed together. Raavi looked at Suman who nodded giving permission to give it nice and back her maasi her way.

“Masima. Aap ko phir se chad gayi? Utariye utariye. Aap bhul kyun jaate ho Shiva aap ka damad hai. Usse aap joh bhi kahoge woh ghhuuum ke aap ke paas hi aayega. Rahi baat jahil aur gawar ki? Mere aur Shiva ka education qualification same hai. College pass. In fact usska better hai. Woh math genius joh tha school ka bhi college ka bhi. Toh kya mujhe bhi aap jahil gawar bulaoge?”, Prafulla was about to protest but Raavi continued not letting her speak, “chalo mann lete hai aap uss hisab se nahi bulate. Par kiss hisab se bulate hai masi? Jahil aur gawaro jaise toh usska bartab nahi hai. Balki sabse woh bohat jyada izzat se pesh aate hai, logo ka aadar aur samman karte hai. Masima shyad aap inn do word ka meaning nahi jante. Nahi jante toh use bhi matt kijiye na. Kaha ladki kidnap hoke aayi he. Aap usska khatir dari karoge, khilaoge pilaoge. Par nahi aap toh damad ke burai mein baith gaye. Typical serial wali saans jaise. Very disappointing masimaa”, Raavi winked at Krish who muffled his laughter by pressing his hand over his mouth. Suman smiled at her brother grateful to him actually for raising one of his daughter right and giving that daughter to her Shiva. Rishita made them sit on the sofa as Dhara checked them again for injuries. Janardhan had accompanied the Pandyas to get all happenings clearly and if they got to know anything. So Raavi and Krish explain the events in details. Everyone had to agree on one point. These two were idiots. When they had phone and chance to call them sneakily, they didn’t. Instead they relaxed in the van enjoying the highway view and fresh airs. How thick headed they could be sometimes!! Then Dev, Rishita and Shiva told how they realised they were missing. Dev found the cloths packet and Krish's bike on his way and he immediately came home. At the same time Shiva called to ask about them and they concluded something was not right. They found the photo on group and realised they were kidnapped but could not place the location from the photo. Janardhan came looking for Rishita and got to know that it was Raavi and Krish kidnapped. He recognised both the leader and the background of the photo as he himself sold that godown some months back. They immediately rushed there and Janardhan had the goons arrested after Shiva and Gaumbi bit them well. Janardhan left apologising again. Then Raavi and Krish were asked to freshen up to have dinner.

In ShiVi room,

Shiva closed the door as he entered behind his wife then turned to stare at her who was gleefully choosing cloth from the cupboard. Looking at her no one could guess she was rescued minutes ago. Shiva drank in her sight. Only he knew what he went through when she and Krish went missing. He felt like his world had stopped and if he didn’t find her, he would die the next moment. She had become his necessity to live. If 9 months ago someone told him she, his mami ke behan ki beti would be his reason to live, he would have scowled at the person and laughed his lungs out. That night in the ghat, when she had bared heart out in front of him, he knew he was going to hold on to her real tight. No matter how their relation turned out to be in the future, he would not be able to leave her ever. She would be a part of him always. What he didn’t know then that part would be his soul. She would be his soul. His everything.

“ghoor kya raha hai? Khayega kya?”, Shiva slowly approached Raavi as she giggled saying his never changing punch line,

“poora ka poora”, Shiva whispered making Raavi widened her eyes at the reply. She grinned as he engulfed her in his warm hug pressing his face in her crook of neck and hugged him tight inhaling his scent finally feeling home, feeling safe. She might be having fun and cracking jokeoutside. But she felt scared actually. They tried to merge into each other finding solace and love.

Raavi had worn the bracelet she had bought for Shiva in the morning. She took it off and made him wear it. He liked it very much. She knew his choice and preference vey well. He felt touched by her gesture and pulled her in his embrace again.

“Tujhe pata hai jab uss gundo ne hamara raasta block kiya tab main kitni daar gayi thi. Phir main Krish ki or dekha. Mujhe yaad aaya main Shiva Pandya ka biwi hu”,

“matlab tu bhul jati hai tu shadi shuda hai!!”, Shiva pulled back slightly to look at her face. She rolled her eyes at his teasing tone and continued pressing her face in his neck,

“Aur Shiva kisi bhi halat mein kisise nahi darta. Toh mujhe nahi darna chaiye. Phir maine socha Shiva uss situation mein kiya karta?Tu toh dishoom dishoom shuru kar deta. Par woh mujhe nahi aata. Toh maine wahi kya joh mujhe bahubi aata hai”,

“Irritate karna. Mujhe toh unn gundo ke liye bura lag raha hai”, Shiva winced as his wife had bitten under his collarbone, “woh chudail.Tu photo bhej sakti hai. Call nahi kar sakti thi. Kab ka dhoond lete tum dono ko. Akkal ke dushman. Dono ke dono”. Raavi pulled back to pout at him who imitated her before capturing her lips with his.
