There is no room for any calling out of faults in this. Malini’s so called “realizations” are all as superficial as her character and will continue to be so. There is nothing to redeem cuz she was born perfect according to every character in this story 😆. The only constant in this story is Malini considering herself a perpetual victim....she doesn’t see any faults in herself and neither do others 🤷‍♀️. All her so called insecurities are also only about looking for scapegoats.

Anyways, people are welcome to imagine more to her than there is. I’ve seen enough to get a clear sense of her character for what she actually is.

The tripati’s, Aditya or Imlie are definitely not going to call her out, I hope she redeems herself just by observing her how different her mom and mithi are. And hopefully she realizes that she doesn’t have to be her mom or her dad, I genuinely felt that she did feel sorry for Imlie being wronged by Dev, even though she wallowed in self pity of how she was wronged to - I have just resigned this to being how the creatives want to portray her( they could have chosen to portray her in a million other different ways, but probably thought this was what gave her character layers - it’s just bad writing).

I can only wish the writers address her character better and she comes out of the self pity phase soon. We also have to keep in mind that she is Imlie’s sister, and with this perspective if she comes out of this a better person, give her a chance.

Didi bas side pe “stop it stop it” karti reh jaayengi uselessly but for most people, that will be enough to prove her “sisterly concern” 😆.

Ek rupi di hain jo ek episode main galti se bol diye thi apu ko ,ki jab apko pata Chalegi kaun kiosks payaar ki advantage le rahi hain ,tab bahut bari jhatka lagegi,indirectly telling malini was taking advantage of imlie’s love for her.(shayed writer ko uss din akal aye thi thori time ke liye) .that’s the one time someone say something about her manipulative character.otherwise kisiko kuch nehi dekhta didi ki age😠

Aap Malini ki sisterly concern ko underestimate kar rahi hai. Maar padne ke baad she will also ask tumhe chot toh nai laga na imlie 😆

I do understand she will have to acknowledge her faults on her own, as I don’t think other people are going to call her out. Her being propped up up to a devi is other people’s doing, I would say. If she does realize her shortcomings on her own that would be a good character arc too..

Imlie does deserve an apology from Malini for calling her naukar, mistress etc. And like all of the other issues here, they won’t/ can’t be addressed in a single day. I am just hoping that Malini does apologize, and tries to right everything to the best of her capabilities, and I am just giving her some time before I pass a judgement.

@bold: That’s called humility 😆....a humble person is the one who tries to downplay it when people heap praise on them or try to hype them up. Adi has also been hyped by PD people a lot but he’s always downplayed their praise. Meanwhile Didi absolutely LIVES for adulation. Any praise she gets, she soaks it up and preens like she deserves it rightfully 😆

So aap jo expect kar rahe hain, Didi is incapable of. lol even in her so called “making amends to Imlie” mode, she is incapable of ever being truly humble. She genuinely considers herself superior to others so when they hype and call her Devi or sabse achhi blah blah, she always smiles quietly and accepts it 😆

By the way speaking of “redemption”, lol Didi ko aaj tak itne jhoot bolne ka bhi zara sa guilt nahin hua toh Dunno now people expect her to realize anything on her own 🤷‍♀️😂

But we also have to keep in mind, nobody except Aditya stands up to AC. And the one time Imlie stood up to her ended badly. There’s also this one time Malini tried to stand up to her mom - in the episode Imlie return from the hospital after she gets shot and they host a party. She tried in that episode but AC overpowered her. AC is a dominating, vile woman and hopefully with time Malini does develop the strength to stand up against her own mother. This is the growth I would like to witness for Malini, but I guess I am expecting too much for ITV.
