I am also lucky to have my parents and my elder brother who is very supportive ,I cried first time when I came to know though I had a little idea but my mom consoled me and helped me accepting this beautiful change

And that is because our parents were very much jaagruk.. Unlike many others in rural areas

I don't have a sibling so it's all me and my parents

Btw.. You are so lucky to have an elder brother

Mereko bhi chahiye 😭

But I am very lucky to have my parents who never gave in to her nonsense

I was thoroughly informed about this from my 3rd grade in school and when I started menstruating in 6th grade, I was never panicked because I knew it had to come some day or other... I started menstruating at 4'o clock in the morning and at 7, I was in school doing my PT test in my white uniform and did not ruin it that day..

That's my first menstruation story!

Yes....we are privileged to have parents support...though it is still taboo in the society....

But now schools have started such education...

Even my home ...i used to talk about it to my father n bro very casually....But that was not the case with my friends ( i think due to mentality diffrence of parents) ....i knew it long before i attained that age...n when it came....my mom was not with me...she just guided me over the phone....n I was taken care by my dad....❤️

Society is changing.....but at diffrent pace...in cities in villages

Even today... There are separate rooms made for menstruating women

I have heard it from many of my friends

Those days menstruation meant a sharaap and that's why they are showing the correct thing now rather than the sampoo drama

Yess... This is the reality ... Actually the aim was to give rest and mental peace to women..

But people specially elderly ladies of the house used it to torture the DILs n daughters... I have

In today's era even western culture adopted this concept.. they call it Red Tent, women use this during menstruation for rest... N see how me misused our legacy💔
