I wish they had done a much more subtle version of the first scene. I’ll let the whole dramatic Shiva-Dhara scene go just for trp aunties 😆 Instead of Raavi auditioning for an SLB film, we could have seen Shiva walking away dejected at the lack of reaction from Dhara. He walks into their room wincing in pain. Raavi, upon seeing him makes a comment but he doesn’t reply. Instead, he stays silent which worries her. She notices him holding his hand and trying to hold back his pain. We could have gotten a first aid scene. Shiva angry and upset asks her why she’s being nice and she tells him that she’s just being a kind & good human being, she has always been that way. Both end up discussing childhood moments (without flashbacks unfortunately) where Raavi had been kind to Shiva. Shiva feels overwhelmed and also guilty about his feelings for her and tries to walk away when she asks how he got the injury. He gives her a vague answer and she gives him some solid advice which gets him thinking about not just the situation with Dhara but also about how kind Raavi is/always has been. He can’t help but admire her all over again while a part of her feels for the boy who loves his family so much! Both feel awkward and try to get back into their usual fighting mode.
The manhandle and unnecessary Bhabhi jaap was not needed.
We don’t need ShiVi scenes just for the sake of it. I hope the writers understand that.
