I personally feel ke Ahir ko they should have given better dialogues..he is so good with shayari and all..they should have given some more weightage to his proposal..it felt they were rushing this too! Even anokhi ka reaction to it was thoda subdued..she could have spoken more about her love ..agar shadi nahi bhi hote to she would not have accepted the proposal! I felt bad for him though. Without any good dialogue he was able to convey his hurt

He for sure remains an unpredictable character. He despises shaurya...and believe he is no good for anokhi..so in future if he turns grey I won't be surprised! His haq cheen lena comment scared me too.. let's see!!

They have kept the plot intersting..hate it love it par can't ignore it

This reminds me of a couple of instances where he loses his calm and at that time his comments become quite derogatory. So there were a couple of instances when he got angry and objectified Anokhi(in a way, women in general) which he usually does not.

A couple of times. Dude every single time. There is one single dialogue that always stands out in every scene. Even in the restaurant scene I know Shaurya was wrong in yelling at them publicly and I used to think that maybe they were trying to highlight his mysogeny but soon I came to a conclusion that it was them actually showing the stark difference between the mysogeny of both these guys.

But with Shaurya the saving grace is that it can be worked upon but with Ahir dude refuses the idea of it because he considers himself a better person.

Lockup scene - Ahhh, when he tried to play Shaurya mentally, when he tried to strum the right strings of his insecurities but what came out of syllabus was Anokhi seeing through him and questioning him.

Dude have been really observing since the beginning. Or else he would have never realised that Shaurya took Anokhi away Raaste se.

He said it himself.

And then him always trying to get information from Babli or trying to use her as a ladder also proves the mental game here.

And he himself confessed- sirf arrest karna nahi sikhate hain, mentally bhi training milti hai !

You know what I can continue on him forever...so I will stop !

And why hasn't he tried talking to Shagun yet? How come not even once did he wonder why she is insisting on marrying him when she knows that he loves Anokhi. There's so much he needs to think about but nah..... right now he's the visual representation of "head empty, no thoughts" 🤣

(during the library episodes) and that way it can hit him with a greater force. He can finally understand the gravity of his own words.

@Bold 2- Simple answer - when high on emotions because of Anokhi it can switch off his sense of clarity. Also, he is taking it too lightly. He is more worried about him being out with it than her accepting it. So now in future if Shaurya gets to know about the proposal during the MU, although it wont shake his trust on her but I can see him saying something stupid like - It wasn't my intention to hide it from you but you also went ahead not telling me about the proposal. So it's just not me hiding things but you as well. Like I know its different, you know its different, shaurya would know its different but what will he say- can be DIFFERENT as well.

Also I am just talking about the possibilities. I dont even know if I am even making sense.

Ps- I just realised I am so out of practice to be on the EDT. I feel so tried typing.

@bold-I could totally see him equating both the things now !! He can certainly say this that even you hid things from me!!

I disagree with this part completely. Anokhi has already lost too much to the point that she doesn't have much left to lose. She lost her family and home, she can't go back to Kapurthala. She has nothing to her name. Her entire world is reduced to her completing her education in SIAC and her hostel room. If the truth about Shakhi marriage comes out, she could get bullied, defamed and even thrown out. Where would she go then? If they stay together, she'll constantly be at the receiving end of Devi and Shagun's anger and hatred and Shaurya can't protect her always.

Whether Shaurya sides with his family or goes against them, he'll always be better off than Anokhi. Knowing BM's truth will definitely leave him heartbroken but that heartbreak is necessary for him to live a happier life. So he's not really losing, but he stands to gain from this heartbreak. But Anokhi gains nothing unless SS learns to take a stand. She's constantly on the losing side.

I agree with both of you! We are in for a major heartbreak 😭 I'm preparing myself for this!

Yaa his character is unpredictable but I don't want his character out n out black , grey can be interesting but hope he remains positive n goods friends with ShaKhi n support them instead of seperating them that will go typical itv way .

Regarding ACP feelings , I think it was rushed, I love u n marriage proposal suddenly , it is not needed. But good thing is he get clarity.
