Salman should be just an actor/hero. And while it's clear that his target audience seeks for entertainment and masala whose torchbearer he undoubtedly is in India, he should really stop randomly taking his shirt off to reveal those VFXed abs. It's becoming embarrassing and pretty cringeworthy. It's also weird seeing him paired opposite/kissing much younger heroines like Disha Patani. This significant shift that Bollywood is having is gonna be detrimental to him if he doesn't reassess his movie choices

Once that movie Tubelight performed below expectations I think he got insecure

Before Race 3 him and Remo were suppose to do a film about a father/daughter based on dance. I know Remo is thrash but that would’ve been better than Race 3

Going by the title of the topic, very good news.

Only film of Salman I have liked it Dabangg 1. Not because he acted well, but the story was good and Salman's antics and dance number did not ridicule the film, they added drama to the film. All his other films are dumb. He can still be the hero but he has to stop the current line of dumb, dumber, dumbest film trend of his films.

salman khan is super f*cking stupid, if he does movies like Bajrangi it breaks every record there is, but he choose to do movies like race 3 and Radhe, like wtf?

when guys like akshay does great content movies it barely crosses 300 core worldwide

salman needs to sit down and get his shit together, he is not a director, musician, cinematographer, writer, casting director and should stop casting his talentless family members in all of his movies, if he wants his family to get paid, maybe he should invest in other business venture for them that dont involve his movies.

Let's just put it this way: he represents the masses, they find themselves in him and he has a substantial fan base which will choose to watch his movies, no matter what the quality is

There is no way he is over. As long as people worship stars, he's not going anywhere.

There has to be a paradigm shift in the way we view cinema for Salman to be "over".

This forum itself is a microcosm of the way we view cinema. It's all about numbers, numbers and numbers, not artistic merit. So long as that exists, Salman is not going anywhere.
