Stellar episode . Everything was on point, the romance, the conversation given their personalities and the impulsive climax to the episode.
It was an interesting conversation because one was emotional, other pragmatic, they seemed to be talking over each other without trying to understand what other one was saying.
Things that stood out to me was Shaurya is willing to make compromises or change because this is about Anokhi and he is in love but his underlying soch has not changed much. He keeps talking of middle ground and lack of ego in love which makes me think his idea of relationship is very much ideal and textbookish. One can get to that state but it takes a lot of communication and hardwork for a couple to achieve that level of understanding. Good news is he is willing to take the risk and put in hard work as needed. His abandonment issues kept cropping up again and again as he kept asking her if her walking away meant she did not love him or that he was not important enough to her.
As usual Anokhi had a very pragmatic and practical approach to conversation probably to the point that she undermined the importance of love in life and called it childish. Her goal is reasonable and she has a right to her dreams but she is not even willing to take a chance. She has already made a decision that she will walk away from Shaurya though I think she is bound to regret that decision later. She was not even willing to talk to Shaurya about how they could find a middle ground and work the relationship between them. As usual she made up her mind, refused to listen to Shaurya and passed a judgement driving Shaurya crazy. He went from being the luckiest guy to I can't believe this is happenning to me. She mentioned that he was forcing her into a relationship but that was somewhat untrue, she took a decision on her own for both of them to breakup, 10 minutes after having a passionate confession. That was unfair. She insisted that she loved him and probably will always but they cannot be together. She also mentioned something about the difference between changing and compromises and that people don't change their soch. I do not blame her because she is drawing off her experiences from her family but I disagree with her, when you change, you compromise naturally and they do not feel forced. Most of the time you don't even notice the change and so called compromises. Also people change as do their soch ...it is a part of growing up and life. She has a lot of growing up to do.
There was a trigger apart from desperation that led Shaurya to react and do the sindoor thing. It was not Ahir but Shagun, I think he lost it when she told him to go and get married to Shagun. I think instinctively Shaurya stumbled onto the solution of all his problems in his head- marrying Anokhi without a delay. It gets him out of his forced engagement and supposedly binds Anokhi to him. I also think he took a calculated risk with Anokhi- he knew she loved him and she wanted to stay with him but she was willing to walk away rather than take a risk and bet on their relationship. He took that decision out of her hand and forced it on her. My only complaint is he seemed almost perversely pleased about his action which does not match his character since so far he has constantly emphasized on consent. Also I had hoped that he would say, he was hers forever now instead of saying she is his forever now when her smeared the sindoor. I guess that is another example of his misogyny.
His action somehow reminded me of time when Anokhi was wanting to go to Kapurthala after library incident. He was willing to try anything to buy time. In some ways he has bought time by binding her to him. He can now work on their issues and try resolving them.
I am curious to see how Anokhi reacts to sindoor incident. I think she will be mad initially and lead Shaurya to a merry chase but will accept Shaurya after seeing his sincerity eventually.
Based on precap- Shaurya hid what he did and forced engagement still seems to be in works.
Here we always discuss Shaurya's triggers ,we always forget to take Anokhi's trigger into consideration.If Shaurya has trigger based on abondonment ,Anokhi also has fought her whole life for the sake of her career.
If you remember her first speech ,that Shaurya is aware of as well,she said why i need a man for my recognition,why can't i just be Anokhi as my PEHCHAAN .Shaurya came very late in her life way before that she had chosen the purpose of her life ,she has to proove herself to her father and make a creer and make her parents proud.For that she has made so many sacrifices.It is Anokhi's trigger ,someoone is trying to take her career ,her education away from her.
Shaurya is suggesting a middle ground for problems ??What do you think ,middle ground in their case could be?That she gets married to him ,he allows her to complete her education but gives up on her carreer??
Why does she need to sacrifice anything ,if you think he is a changed man why cant he give up on his misogny to let her make her career.
He kept saying dont you love me ,you love career why could not he just say, ok you go with your career and i am there with you,why did he keep talking about middle ground.According to him breaking engagement with Shagun was not his fault at all.How could she believe him that he is a changed man.

Anokhi was so very right in questioning that you used to love Shagun as well then why did you just broke up with her. It was difference of Soch .She wanted to continue her education while he was looking for home maker....
What Anokhi was trying to do ,i totally get her point of view .She asked Shaurya if she could get both .Her career and Shaurya .Shaurya could have assured her ,he is ready to give her both,did he?? he did not :)
Passing judgment there was need of hour ,for him to realise his mistake.That he wont realise for now but will think about it for sure in sure in future.
@red Absolutely true about misogny...Thats what i am hoping cv's are going to focus on ,in future.
Also i think what he said you are mine for good ,perfectly goes with his charactor in my opinion.He is a misogynist ,that is what show was based on . So according to him they both are not equal in their relatioship ,he wants her to be known as MRS SHAURYA SABHARWAL. I would accept him as a changed man when would start giving his intro as husband of Anokhi Bhalla :)
