Ikr!! The episode is worth all the hype. And it had everything yet it was unique in the ITV history. First that open confession and then that honest confrontation!!
I have seriously not seen a confession as beautiful as this. Either it's a grand set up and cheesy lines or some tragic event leading to it or someone taking out their frustration with I love you. Naamkarann was one show who's confession I had absolutely loved, but that was a very emotional one given the concept of the show...so couldn't really feel that happiness. Yahaan Kitna pyaara tha yeh😳 no baggage of past or future...just being happy in the moment❤️
So true! No cheesy lines for our Shaakhi. No dramatics. Just straight heart to heart confession. That’s why this show is something different. They keep it close to reality as much as possible. Their confession resonated so much with us, coz it seemed so real. The emotions seemed so real. Their happiness was so infectious that we could feel that happiness with them. I can’t tell you, how many times I have watched the confession part by now. N m still not over it.
The whole sequence of their confession was so beautifully shot and so beautifully enacted. 😍😍😍
True...they have found out such a beautiful location!! Direction and cinematography was the best!! I only wished we got to see the close up shot of the lift! I am excited about where they would shot yesterday as ayushi didn't know about the location, it must be somewhere out of the hotel😁
True. Despite all the constraints and situational challenges, they gave us such a beautifully shot science. Yes, even I wish they had given us a longer shot of the lift and a closer one. The only thing the scene was missing was a forehead kiss. (And that’s the absolutely greedy part of me saying that 🤣🤣🤣) Otherwise the scene was complete in itself. I am so excited for what’s coming next.
The abandon with which they ran was a balm to the heart. The peace they felt with each other. 😍😍
Balm to their heart as well as ours😳
Oh it was wasn’t it. Seeing them so carefree after 1 month of stress was definitely soothing!! 😍😍
Oh yes! After the dream came the reality. It was such an honest conversation from both their ends. Anokhi did not mince her words, Shaurya did not sugar coat his replies. I am so proud of Anokhi for standing for her dreams, yet admitting her love for him. How many ITV heroines would say this?? I want you, your love but I want my dreams too.
She's truly one of a kind heroine!! When shaurya asked you don't want my love, I expected she would say I want career given the mood she was in. But this level headed girl said she wants both...truly a today's girl❤️
Anokhi is my champion. She is so much younger than me, but I have taken a lot of inspiration from her. Seeing someone stand tall by their convictions is a wonderful thing to see, and especially a woman, a lead on ITV. She set an example for people to follow. That just because you fall in love, or coz you care about the people in your lives, you do not have to sacrifice your dreams or individuality. Any relationship is about equal partners. No one should go into, or live in a relationship feeling less!!
She knows what her heart wants, but she knows what her mind wants to. And she won’t compromise on either. What a girl!!! I am so proud of her.
And yes he has changed, but not completely. He has a long way to go. But the Shaurya from episode one to today has come a long way as well. Him wanting to find a middle ground is a big step for him, and it is perhaps the foundation for the change in his soch. He said that where there is love, there is no ego. Saying it was easy, let’s see how he follows it. It will be a treat to watch.
He will struggle...but he'll get there! He absolutely doesn't have ego when he's with anokhi otherwise. It's only about his abandonment issues. Until they are addressed, he'll struggle, but later he'll be fine!
Yes!! That’s why I am not too worried about what will happen next. I know he will get there. Despite his upbringing, at the core he is Aastha’s son. Like you said his soch is not a by product of misogyny as much as it is of his childhood trauma and his fear of abandonment. And once they both understand where it stems from, it would help him overcome his soch. It will not happen overnight. But it will gradually.
As much as I am not ok with the sindhoor thopna, I also get where he is coming from. For me it wasn’t Haq jatana, as much as it was the fear of losing her. Breaking up would be the easiest solution for them both practically, but it would be like giving up on each other even before trying.
Agree...it was not at all haq jatana! He rightly said...badi maa and anokhi, both the ladies he dearly loves, were pushing him to the corner. That sindoor was just his way to convey he's not going away from her no matter what she says. Forcing on her is just not in his capacity!
Yes. He is not trying to impose himself on her. It’s a promise in his mind that he won’t give up on her or their relationship. And they will work through their differences with time and understanding. It was not to force her, but to give them both that opening to be in each other’s lives with full rights and solve their problems.
But I am also not ok with what he did. He was desperate I understand, but it wasn’t right.
Though it is not the right way at all and I will be with Anokhi if she kicks him. But I also know, woh mana lega usey. Not coz he is stubborn. But coz at the core they love each other. And Anokhi still wants him, she just doesn’t want to compromise her dreams for that.
My heart broke for both of them. Anokhi coz she thinks she will not have equality in the relationship and Shaurya coz everyone he loves, wants to leave him.
After the beautiful confrontation today, I want a heavily emotional scene of them discussing their childhood. I have waited for it since the car scene when shaurya wanted to know the issues anokhi has with her dad. I want to seem them pouring out their heart!!
I think that will take time to come. Both of them find it very difficult to talk about their childhood. But yes, it’s very important they do. Coz that is the root of their insecurities. And once they do, they trust each other with their deepest fears and insecurities, they will become stronger as one!!
I want Shaurya to understand her deep rooted fears, understand the reason behind them and then heal them by understanding the underlying unfairness in his soch and gradually change it, and I believe he can. Coz like you said the root of his soch is not misogyny, it’s childhood trauma and fear of abandonment. I hope Anokhi also understands that. And with that understanding of each other, they can begin their journey towards each other.
True...it's only getting onwards and upwards! And I believe astha is going to play a pivotal role in this because she's the only one who has witnessed both their issues. As much as I am waiting shaurya astha scenes for their mother son bonding, I would first love to watch him bond with her as anokhi's guardian and taking her help and begging her to convince anokhi.
I really hope she does. I am a little skeptical about Aastha also after Shaan took a u-turn. I am reserving my judgment though. She is a Shakhi supporter for sure. And if she is with them, they are gonna make a formidable team against DevGun. Just someone please knock some sense into Shaan!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
