Hope Nishit ignores her dicta and continues to show up to meet Dadi. Maybe he overheard his mom talking to Kirti or will realize her behavior changed after his mom showed up. Asking too much 😏

It is indeed very unfortunate that Kirti let others' opinions about Nishit override her feelings for him. She managed to stay friends with Tejas even after knowing her "love" would never be reciprocated. His friends used to say the same things about Kirti what Rimjhim insinuated. Shruti's opinion about Nishit is same as her opinion about Tejas. The class difference issue is also common between the two. So what is it that makes Kirti react so differently with Tejas v/s Nishit. I have a feeling he was planning to tell her about his feelings on the night of Diwali party. The fireworks were probably his idea too. He must have lost it when he saw Kirti looking at them with Tejas' hand draped around her.

Her world changed when her father passed away. And what happened before that, Nishit sharing what she had shared in confidence with Sana and her advertising of the same, has colored everything. Tejas made a place when he was the only person to support her post her father's passing. There was always an interest on both sides, which both never explored. Not even examining their own feelings. Whenever they have got to a place where they could, something happened. In many ways she became the adult of the house even if dadi is around. Guess that has to have an impact on how she thinks and behaves. If she did date I think that was more to do with doing what everybody is doing not because she had any strong feelings for the person.

I think Tejas is a snake, he has played a big part in creating a lot of the misunderstandings. There is something slimy about him.

I feel like even the information about her father driving an autorickshaw, might have gotten leaked by Tejas and not Nishit.

Tejas is surely the snakewa of this story. Whenever Kirti and Nishit were getting close, it was Tejas who always ruined it.

Also the sentence Rimjhim said -

‘It doesn’t look good that when one brother got hooked, you did not lose time to shift your attention to the other one. Such schemes don't fit an educated girl like you, child.’

What did she mean by the above? Had Tejas told the elders that Kirti is in love with him or something like that? Or that he wants to marry her? And so now maybe Tejas and Sana are back and Rimjhim meant since Tejas is not available, Kirti is eyeing Nishit?

Looks like Tejas has ruined Kirti's reputation in his family.

Yes, Nishit might have feelings for her, but he has never expressed it explicitly. (Or maybe he does not )

Maybe in college, he just wanted to be her friend. So he has GFs. That should not stop him from wanting to have just friends.

Kirti gets influenced more by others than she even realises it.

Be it Shruti, or Tejas, or her grandmother, and even the society.

Kirti has her own insecurities about their class difference and Shruti/Tejas' words only confirm her beliefs. I guess it is easier for her to believe that Nishit has a string of girlfriends and she is just a passing fancy or an "easy target" like how Tejas put it. She refuses to think beyond it. Even if Nishit does 10 good things, his 1 mistake is the one that gets magnified. As if her conscious is taunting her with "I told you so"

‘How can I?! You don’t want her to marry the Ojha guy. This Nishit is also forbidden. And she’s determined to marry today itself. The grandmother is on her deathbed and it’s apparently her last wish!’

Why does Urmi not want her daughter to marry? What kind of intentions she has for her?

This whole conversation creeped me out. The way Ahilya said that Kirti is not as experienced as her and that creepy Harkiik could teach her something, I swear this cannot be remotely a normal conversation happening between a mother and some man who is a stranger to the daughter.

I think jab baat Nishit ki hain, Kirti will never be content with friendship. But if I think from Kirti's POV, instead of repeatedly hurting and walking away from a person only because she can't have them in her life in a way she wants is not fair - for him or for her. Life is not fair. If she can learn to accept that friendship is all they can share, it will make life a lot more easier.

Even if Nishit didn't overhear the exact conversation, he is smart enough to realize what must have transpired between them. I am also hoping he would show up to meet Dadi. The crow story is still pending. Later! 😎

No point shooing Ahilya to another world, she will jump on her broom and come back 😆

I am still on fence about Hardiik. Kirti does seem to catch his interest, but he doesn't come across as Navyam, or even Tejas for that matter.

Yes, I agree with everything you said. Kirti's experience in life and with people in general has shaped her & her opinions. She tried to fit in and failed. I guess in the back of her mind she compares every guy to Nishit and obviously none of them are even close.

Tejas is definitely a snake. I have a feeling he could also be responsible for none of her classmates (especially Nishit) reaching out after her father's demise.

My guess is it was Prasanna. It may been an accident and she may not have said it with an evil intent, but somehow she could be responsible for letting the cat out. In one of the chapters, Tejas had said both, Nishit & Prasanna have betrayed Kirti in the past. So this could be it. Nishit must have just taken the blame to keep Prasanna out of it.

Speaking of Prasanna, I wonder if she tried reaching out to Biplab after hearing about Dadi.

Hardiik followed her in Diwali party. Followed her or Nishit to hospital. he thought Nishit was slimy (phraphrasing) when he saw them talking in the hospital corridors. Kirti feels affinity because he is not rich. Think Ahilya and him.are the two new troublemakers
