I know right! And I think it has more to do with Indian/desi mentality. Look at American TV or Hollywood. Julia Roberts, Jen Anniston, Anne hathway to name a few, nothing stopped them from bagging lead roles in their thirties, forties and fifties. Late fifties even! Have you seen 'The room' and 'Gone girl'? A news in IF reminded me of the room, i saw that movie when it released. Had me disturbed for quite some time. Same is the case with gone girl. Though gone girl was much difficult to digest for me

wait are you talking about "room" from 2015 or "the room"? apparently they are different movies

no I haven't watched either Room or gone girl but know the gist of the stories. Room's story is too terrifying to me but gone girl is intriguing

idk why I can't watch people trapped in a small place. That's why I couldn't watch "trapped" with rajkumar rao

anyhow, room's story was definitely terrifying and it got me so disturbed for days! worst is this kind of stuff has happened in real life *shudders*. What kind of world do we live in? sometimes i feel, life is in indian villages is best, families are close knit and everyone keeps looking out for each other since there are so many people to take care of eo.

gone girl was fiction but very disturbing again! felt so bad for the hero.

Have you watched batman series? I have it sitting in my laptop since years but I just cant put myself to watch it 🤓

Yeah it's terrifying to know that some people have experienced such things irl. I read about a teen girl kidnapped by her teacher and she was found many years later. Just thinking about that gives me nightmares

Gone girl was totally nuts..btw did you watch the indian version with parineeti chopra? I haven't watched it because heard it was terrible
