Whether Vanraj should have been given second chance after his apology?

My answer is No, bcoz though he has realised that he was wrong, but that cannot take away the pain of betrayal and the cheating of 8 years just bcoz bow he has realised it and he wants things to go back as it was before. Also the night before, when he was convincing Anu to reconsider her decision of divorce, he had clearly said that I am not saying that I will leave Kavya. So when he is not going to leave Kavya, why Anu even delay the divorce or give him a second chance.

I cringed at some of the flashbacks and saw how Vanraj used to belittle Anupama . I wonder why he is so changed now towards Anupama and wonders why he loved Kavya. What has changed suddenly for Vanraj ? I wonder which married female would still forgive a guy who was caught on the marriage bed with another female that too after they got married again . Let's see in Anupamas new journey whether again Vanraj can make a place

Yes he has been very mean to her. Obviously catching your husband having an intimate moment with a woman on your own bed and at your wedding day, is such a heartbreaking thing. How can people expect to forget that. She is forgiving him is also a big thing, being cordial with him, which was also initiated by her Vanraj would have never come out of his ego only of Anu had not initiated it. And in a way it ok, to not keep hatred, it takes you nowhere.

I can see he is actually realising his mistakes and is guilty, but is it enough to Anu forget his betrayal and lies of 8 years? According to me No. So why delay things which has to happen.

I am also eager to know how their equations change post divorce and with family and Kavya in picture.

Even if Sudhanshu and Rupali have great bond and screen presence as actors, I cannot see any romantic chemistry between two! Divorce is the main way ahead... His realization often seems desperation to stop the divorce so that he can continually live the way he has...

No matter what, his dialogues, monologues and presentation does NOT make me sympathize with him! An apology cannot rub the torture of 25 years! For that matter even its even Baa's turn to regret how she had really treated Anupama for all those years... Truth be told, it's only after you lose someone that you realize their worth! Baa seems little genuine in her realization over Vanraj...

What Vanraj did was never a mistake it was a sin! He ruined her life, never let grow... And she did that all in return of a family and love... Which was a mistake!

Totally agree with @ shahsb _26 and no wonder trp fell down directly from 3.8 to 3.0 on 15th week as on 15 th week they try to promote anuraj like anuraj entering holding eaching other hand and giving flash back of anu and raj that anu is singing song tera bina for vanraj and vanraj and anupamaa sharing sweet moment with each other

Apart from try to show sweet flash back between on 15 th week they another didi mistake like when samar did not want to dance due to divorce cvs has made vanraj to motivate samar through video. Why cvs did not make Anupamaa to motivate samar

Vanraj motivate samar for dance on 14 th week on saturday but cvs did not show anupamaa to motivate samar neither on 14 th week nor in 15 th week. I feel this quite strange

Aur bhi mistake on 15 th week like when samar and nandini get attack by goons they did not complain to police ?

Another mistake on 15 th week that when pakhi lie to his bapuji and went to party . Bapuji did not strictly scold her or he should have said he has hurt that u that u lie hum

It was good to see he apologised for all his bad behaviour on the route to divorce. After all this was their last journey together after 25 years of long road travelling together.

Being wife, i feel when you love your husband so much for 25 years, MAY BE you can forgive him for his ill treatment and bad behaviour towards you if he genuinely apologise and change himself completely.

BUT no women can accept betrayal , adultery and other woman of husband. There no forgiveness for this CRIME. Cherry on the top is vanraj did it behind anupama’s back for 8 long years. He never choose to inform his wife on his own since day 1 of his affair which is unforgivable action.

IF this was the case of ONLY ill treatment and IF husband reform himself then there was chances of forgiveness. I am saying this completely being wife of a man whom I love with whole heart anupama also loved her husband with whole heart . BUT this case involves ill behaviour, mental harassment, betrayal , adultery everything which are unforgivable.

Anupama has been forgiving her husband and his family, especially ba ever since she has been married to Sah household.

She forgave them for not honoring their promise to provide for Anu's education after marriage.

She has forgiven them for treating her as someone beneath Vanraj.

She has forgiven them for treating her maternal side as someone inferior to them.

She has forgiven them for continuous mental, emotional and verbal abuse they have been subjecting her to.

She has forgiven them for crushing her self esteem.

She has forgiven them for not recognizing her worth and her contribution in only on nurturing but also keeping the family intact as a unit..

All these and more.. She has been forgiving them implicitly without anyone of them knowing their mistakes and faults.

She might have forgiven them multiple times as a wife, a daughter/sister/mother in law, a mother, but she shouldn't' forgive Vanraj for crushing her self- respect and the her worth as a woman.

Adultery, infidelity was the last straw that has broken Anupama's back. If she now forgives Vanraj and crawls back, then neither Vanraj, nor ba, nor Kavya but she herself will be the one responsible for demeaning her worth as a human being.

Agree Baa's realisation is more genuine over Vanraj. But when Vanraj apologised in their way to court, that realisation I felt real, uske pehle whenever he apologised or said anything always has his own self interest to stop the divorce. Bit still no one is suffering how much Anu suffered for 25 years, its a long long time.

Bas can the CVs please let go their obsession of showing Anu as mahaan 😩😩
