Door khulta hai toh Geet whipes on the floor chapaak se

Mom is startled

Maan is taken aback

Geet appears with glowing horns; one hand on her waist andthe another holding the whip

Mom is freezed at her place

For a moment Maan also goes blank

Mom ka toh muhh khula ka khula hai

Geet is changing color to pink...her ears getting warm

Mom is losing color of her face

Maan is the one who springs into action

Both the ladies are stuck in their positions

Maan walks to Geet and guides her inside the bedroom, lightly wrapping his arm around her shoulder and covering her with his body

Geet ko bedroom mein bithaya

Door band kia peeche se

Bahar gaya

Mom ko andar laaya pakadke

Mom ko paani diya

Geet ke liye kitchen se paani le gaya

Geet ke liye paani le gaya toh dekha ki she dressed back into her usual clothes.

Aur ragad ragad ke makeup hataa rahi hai

M-Geet. Come. Let’s go into the hall. Mom is there alone

G- No no. I am not going. You go

M- But she...

G- I can’t face her

She buries her face into her palms

G- I will be here till she goes. You go...take your time...I am here

Maan goes into the hall

He sits on the couch

He feels his throat is dried

Drinks the water … jo mom ke liye tha

M- Well..I am sorry...there was some confusion

Mom has a ‘I told you look’ and a victory wala smug face

Mom- So you want me to convince me more about her?

M- I was not convincing anybody. I am an adult. I can decide for myself. If you can decide which man, you wanna sleep with and abandon everything for it then I can also decide with whom I want to be with

Mom- Maan! Watch your tongue

M- Why should I? Now you realize how I was feeling when you were saying sh*t about her

He says pointing towards the room Geet is cooped up in

Mom gets up

Mom- I can’t believe you have changed so much!

Her eyes are teary

Mom- And that too for a lowly woman like this...I can’t even....I can’t even believe she is a Doctor!

Before Maan could say anything, mom walks out

Maan exhales a deep breath he wasn’t aware he was holding

Once mom walks out, she realizes she got played

Mom ka aim tha to show discord and not let Maan & Geet be together and make Geet leave

But... It's mom herself who left, and no discord was sown

Maan makes a tiny drink.

Gulps it and knocks on Geet’s door

M- Now get out you pesky timid rat

Geet is like 'rat kisko bola bey!'...uthke khadi huyi...then stops herself

Geet sits back

G- Is your mom still there?

M-Nope. Only devil slayer is here

He says smugly
