I haven't actually watched the early epi's, only post Adilie marriage and pre Adini 'whatever you want to call that'

She probably did but in her eyes, this lack of depth and non-substantial relationship was better than whatever she'd seen between her parents.
Her parents toxic marriage has clearly had an effect and even she was happy to settle with friendship love and light pda. From what I've seen, there was never any passion/spark.
