yes exactly!! i dont know how he himself didnt realize earlier that he was talking about her. tubelight realized it only when he got to protein bar. the ragging storyline made him look at her as someone more than his mother's student. It made him notice her for the person she is.

Aastha jaap put him off a lott! it put me off us off as viewers. but i as i rewatched it, i felt it was easy to ignore the Aastha jaap because we got a lot of good things out of it. it gave them multiple opportunities to spend time together (i would have preferred more classroom scenes instead but actually), the outcome of riots (didnt like the actual riots scene) Aastha-Shaurya scene and mainly it gave us Ahir!! 😆 so i am okay with it.

Aastha shooting made the truth come out about Aastha/Shaurya relationship....which was needed for Anokhi to understand Shaurya better.

Like you said, her going missing after allowed for ShaKhi to spend time together. Their original car conversation of karela and rasgullah. Hair cutting scene. Hospital scene after riots. Gave such depth to their relationship so fast!!
