Haan the dialogues are apt for the era. BB was becoming too modern, much more than 2021 too. It has to show the rawness of the era.

Highlights:

1. Thakumaa ka vichaar...shudh hindi...sorry guys did not understand properly...but overall I understood is she is conservative and think that without husband women's life is hell in the society..

2. She don't allow bonditha to study...

3. Ani blabbers bondithas name in unconscious state...and gets up and tries to go to find bonditha...

4.Ani recieves bondithas letter saying sumati maa is not well and she is with thakumaa...and safe...

5.ani says the area name...krishnapur or something like that...hearing that kaka is shocked...and offers to accompany him..

6. They reach the gate of haveli...kaka is very sad/shocked...Ani was very happy bcz he is very near to bonditha and is going to meet her...

7.kaka says..this small distance btw you both now may convert into so much longer one...and deny to enter the haveli and asks Ani to go alone inside..

8.ani was very happy..and thinks I forgot to bring a gift to bonditha..as after so long time I am meeting her...and holds a pen in his pocket and feels happy..

Here at the same time thakumaa rubs of the letters written by bonditha and gives jhaadu to bonditha...

Nice but I did not understand almost all dialouges of thakumaa...

If any one understood...pls explain..

Indu, I feel keeping her this tough is an easier way to keep audience side with Ani forgiving all his kants
